Title: My $500 paypower pack for your $450 bitcoin - Escrow Welcome
Post by: coolytrade on March 31, 2016, 08:10:08 PM
I am selling my $500 cad paypower reload pack for $450 cad in bitcoin (about $340usd). That's 10% off for you.

I bought the pack with a card in store but when I tried to register the card online it said I'm not approved. So if you register online and you're approved or you already have have a paypower card then you can make an easy $50.

Escrow is welcome and thanks for your consideration.

Edit: card was bought with cash as a gift

You paid it via credit card right ?

If so there is no guarantee you will not chargeback why not just try a close friend so he can register and cash you out?

It was bought with cash as a gift. I'll try to get the receipt from my friend when I see him later today so there's no concern of chargeback.

But in the first post you said "I bought the pack with a card in store" and now you claim it was bought using cash?

Alarm bells ring in a scenario like this. You might be legit and making a perfectly honest offer here but then again what kind of assurance can you give that this is not an MITM (man in the middle) situation. The friend you mentioned could be someone who paid C$500 for something other than bitcoins. What raises red flags here is the "friend" and the getting-the-receipt-later part of the story. Fraudsters usually do not have the receipt and when challenged to produce it, they usually need time to re-establish contact with the victim to ask for a picture of the receipt.

Edit. PS If you bought the pack at a store, why is the receipt with a friend?
