To get more traffic; traffic is very important for faucets. Sometimes some faucet users browse the other forums but not this one, so promoting your faucet over multiple forums will get it more attention. Correct you are not there for referrals only but you are introducing bitcoin to them. It's a win win solution for bitcoin users coz it will ad up to the community. They do not have any rules against promoting faucets or any other service for that
matter, but you just need to show proof of payment for the service and if the services is proven to be a scam, it will be removed. The moderation is very fair towards all services and the policy about spamming is just the same as any normal forum. Give them also a try. ;) The biggest expose will still be this forum, even if it is a little bit hidden. ::) I believe faucets are one of the main building block for any successful currency, because it supports a wide audience of poor to middle class people. These are the people who are not targeted by the banks and the more up market businesses.
