This is kinda nice I guess I will probably never use it. I rarely get the energy to bother installing another browser so I stay with the first one I download. But this is very nice for those people who stay on their computer all day.

Instead of Adblock you get more ads? Or can I use this with Adblock, so I only see advertisements that I earn from?

It depends bit on what the payment will be when you use there browser. Also usability is really important if it's worth to use it instead of another browser you use nowadays.

About the withdraw, I think it's a bit complicated. Look at this!

I just downloaded and installed the browser, and I actually using it right now. This browser has a nice design, and it's pretty fast to load a page but also still a little bit buggy. And I don't really understand about the "earn Bitcoin with this browser" thing, they called it Ad Replacement btw.

So do you not actually get money from viewing their ads or does it just replace them with other different ads. I'm missing the point i guess

I'm keeping an eye on this one. The concept is simple and amazing, but it's success will depend on the browser usability and size of the payments
when it gets implemented. When they make it so, i'll try it out, but i'm still scared of possible exploits in the early days..

"Soon, micropayments and better ads will give users and publishers a better deal." - judging by this i don't think payments are implemented, but
it does claim to replace the ads with their own, so there's no "more" ads, just different ones.

I'm not sure what is so new about this idea, there are a lot of systems that pay you for watching ads, and having a browser that does that isn't something too special.

I guess if I really am bored and want to earn half a penny I can do this, but it doesn't seem like it's worth anything for now, to me anyways.

Interesting concept for the AdBlock age, we all want free content also ad free, publisher still have to make a living.

The KYC is a bit strange, maybe also for prevent system abuse...

There is an increasing number of options around the internet to get some additional bitcoins (actually satoshis!) But the time required to generate some few satoshis and achieve the minimum payment (even several weeks), makes it very inconvenient most of those options.

If you want to spend the money yourself, you'll need to verify your identity with a phone number and email address

It's just phone + email. Use a random number and a temporary email. Or a separate phone number + email.

It's seems very interesting even though they require users to have their own brave wallet in order to receive anything and also to identify ourselves with an email and number (which is fine I suppose as long as they don't send spam emails). The only thing I didn't like was, their percentage of choice for users as 15% only is given to us (if I understood it correctly).

The Brave browser will substitute the ads on the webpages with their own ads and will pay you money to watch these instead I find this very funny  ;D The KYC requirements are not bad at all verifying an email address and a phone number is actually a lot less demanding than uploading an ID card for example. I am going to try out the browser myself it sounds very interesting.

Agree that this is a very interesting project even though the concept is not new. As a website owner, I do really hope that they will only replace advertisements that is unsafe and bad with their own. My site BitRevenues is a revenue sharing site and it could not live without any advertisement revenue.

However, I support this project since this project pay out in Bitcoin is a browser that I wanted. Waiting for more news about this project. :p.

you can't expect more, it's just like faucet and the owner of the browser only earn money from the ads which is pay very little, so it's fair enough for both user and the owner because you will not spent any effort doing anything except watching ads

Adding micro payments to browsers is a good idea, but to force people who use the browser software to reveal their identity before they can get the payment, is a bad idea for the users. At this

stage, that is perceived as a marketing strategy and taking the normal tracking systems like cookies to a whole new level. If you know who the user is, and you know what they browse for, you can

specifically target them with Advertisements and aggressive marketing strategies. They do it to a certain degree now, but they not 100% sure who the user is.  ???

You are just speculating, but there is no real way of knowing for sure. The way i understood it is that they will only take 15 % of the ad income, while
the rest is going to be distributed amung the users, so the average user's payment is going to be depending on their ad count and revenue.
I wouldn't abandon this just yet, if they get traction, it could mean more than one may think.

Yes the big problem is the time taken by the loading heavy ads,
There are a lot of people who will not want to run these heavy ads on their browsers for some small fraction of penny.

This is actually a really good idea, I'm even more impressed that it came from a former CEO of Mozilla and that it will be privacy focussed.

A browser called Brave will pay BTC for its ads...

It seems to be a good browser, I'll use it if... There's no 'if', I'll use it

Its earning will be the same like PTC sites which pay for browsing their ads and websites with ads.

No, you don't have to go to a certain sites. The ads will appear when you're in the browser (on any site you're in), that's how it works.

That's just worst when you are browsing and an add pops up in front of you...
Even if someone would pay me 0.01 a day, I won't let any advertisement run on my PC or browser because I hate it when anything disturbs my mind while doing some work being focused into it...

yeah you are true, I also agree with you,
and the other thing is that browsers like that provide to your PC a large number of viruses and trojans etc,
and also sometimes that ads load very slowly and it make the page to load slow and in turn waste your time for a few pennies.

I think the ads would act like a normal ads on your browser, just like Google ads. And this browser actually loads page fast
Yes the developer of that browser is not an individual or a mini company or group but a big company, and they will try their best to provide their users/customers a reliable a secure product so as to survive with their business for long.

Oh my. :O Do we actually need to pay a monthly fee just to surf in ad-free mode with their browser? If so, I'd rather use my current browser with uBlock installed.

Here's how it works: Previously, the company said it would allow users to either pay to block ads, or get paid to allow ad replacements from Brave's own network. Those ads, chosen by an ad-matching partner, are supposedly faster, safer and load after the publisher's content, not before it like regular third-party ads. For ad-free mode, you'll pay a monthly fee that will be distributed to publishers based on total traffic to each site. Brave's ad network would take a five percent cut of the total amount collected.

The browser is already out, but the get paid to watch ads isn't. i wonder how much daily we'll earn from it. i'm guessing something like 1-5 mbtc.

If it is possible to make it in another browser, will it be possible in the future that it will be just a plugin you can install with ff or chrome?

I remember to have seen a thread discussing Brave some times ago, but since no any newer information came, I concluded that is was a dead project but it seems not ! Thta's nice :) ! To people asking how it will work, I think that instead of seeing ads put by advertisment companies on websites, Brave will pay you to see ads that they would have put, and will maybe give a fraction of this to the website owner too. At least that's the way I imagine it !

I read about this and I never saw anyone that shared some experience with them. Its loke no one ever tried this brave browser.
And I don't need to pay for browser without ads. I don't think this project will have some big success.

The article says that the company changed its mind and decided to offer an ad-free browsing experience without the need to pay. At the inverse of you, I think that it will have a big success, because if I can grab a few mBTC a day just to do what I do regularly without more hassle, then why wouldn't I go for it :) ?

But I guess the earnings will be very less by showing ads on that browsers, as google adsense is the biggest ad network of all other and they pay about $0.05 per click.

So from all the reviews from people here on the verdict of using this browser, it is a no?
Not enough incentive to install and use this. It is slow and the withdrawal process is complicated.
Thanks but not thanks if it is going to be a hinder than an advantage to my browsing experience.

I think it will be the new way to earn bitcoin with low risk. many people may love it IMO.

Wow this is so nice, you can earn just browsing the web? And I research about this if this is legit, but theres no article that it says a scam,so  this one is paying. But there are many (including me) who are still confused about this topic and how this will works. Much better if one member here tell their company or team to post here in btctalk because it is related about bitcoin and many will work for them but thats quite difficult to do that .

Yep they promised that there will be a lot less tracking going on, and you can opt out of the ads platform anytime you like.

Not sure if that function is live now, as far as I remember large publishers are suing Brave for 'replacing publisher ads with their own.'

The problem with this approach is that users will accrue to a very small amount, mere pennies. Now, if people can put themselves price for their views as to the Exchange, then the market would be and it would be fair.

I think it's no problem, they can give the most appropriate pay what was promised. Because sometimes there's also that gives this kind of agreement, but ultimately they commit fraud (not paying). I support those who give something that is good enough for the sake of the progress of the Bitcoin and famous more people about bitcoin

They will pay bitcoins for watching adds? That is already implemented in the existing browsers by the third party services.I'm unable to open the link ,SSL error.

Your system time is probably wrong. Change it to your local time and you will be able to open the website.

I think the idea of paying browser is good but only to newbies. This is a different form of faucet which will pay very very less. Those who want to start with bitcoin, can be beneficial for them. Otherwise it is better to stick to your good old chrome and opera.

Instead of Adblock you get more ads? Or can I use this with Adblock, so I only see advertisements that I earn from?
As for my knowledge, once you register that link, you just click those ads you've done just watch the ads and how many minutes, after that she enters into account the amount of ads you've watched
