Title: [WTS] Casascius 2013 1 BTC Brass MS65 ANACS certification 4815844
Post by: huanix on April 03, 2016, 01:03:06 PM
I am the original owner of this Casascius coin. I haven't followed the market lately so I'm not sure what it's worth but I'm just looking for fair market value.

The coin has been graded by ANACS and they have pics on file, I have never felt like their picture does the coin justice. It shows two white scratches on the hologram that I simply do not observe. The coin is exactly what you'd expect for a MS65, please interpret the coin based on all of the images. Some images show blotches that just don't appear in other images - please just use your good judgement.

I'm including an additional images of the front and back of the coin taken tonight.

Since there's no rush to sell the token, I'll start bidding at 1.25 BTC in minimum increments of 0.05 and run an auction until no bid is received for 48 hours, or until I decide to accept a bid. If you are the high bidder and no bid has been posted in 48 hours feel free to email me (See below).

Also - I don't spend a lot of time on bitcointalk. If you'd like to contact me just shoot me a message to this username @gmail.com. Also, I haven't been here in years, I don't know the atmosphere or the etiquette anymore, please go easy on me.

Terms:
  • Auction runs until no bid is received or I accept an offer
  • Escrow through bitrated.com is required. Blazed is an arbiter there: https://www.bitrated.com/Blazedout419 (https://www.bitrated.com/Blazedout419)
  • Seller pays shipping to Continental US, the coin is not for sell elsewhere. Shipping will be double boxed and insured.
  • All sales are final. I will answer questions as I am able, but the deal will close when the buyer receives the coin, no taksie-backsies. I WANT you to be happy. Please don't bid if you have a gut feeling that you might not be happy.

Do you mind using Blazed on here instead of through that website?

The account he linked is mine, but I have never done an escrow via that website. If the buyers wants to go that route make sure I verify it here...not sure what weaknesses that site has.

That's why I'm not comfortable using that website. It wouldn't be the first time an escrow website turns out the be a scam.

The site has been around quite awhile, I'm frankly surprised more people on bitcointalk haven't used it. At any rate, if you'll provide local escrow then we can skip using the third party site.

It's actually funny.. We're choosing to trust the persona of your account rather than a trustless escrow system with multisig.. but whatever.

So if I escrow via Bitrated I never get the coins? I would not want to escrow coins I can not personally guarantee since I have no control over their wallets.
