Thats the question. Would you keep a twitter account a live and post? Would you translate from english to your language? Would you solve captchas?

What would you do for 1$USD per hour?

Can you do it for 8 hours a day?

And for 2$USD? 10$USD?

I would continue the work that do everyday, i wish not to get low as 1$ per hour but i wish it get higher and higher, if i was translating then i would continue why not, solving captchas is a bit stressful, it is good at the beginning but after a time the head hurts a bit.

Nothing. that's why I think faucets and 'jobs' offered here are scams or pointless.  I can imagine that some people who live in the developing world could get by on $10 a day, but for me it would just be wasting my time.

I think Europeans/americans who use faucets and do captchas etc would be better off basically doing anything else!

If i work 8 hours daily earning at least 1 dollar p/ hour i can have an average salary monthly.

Captcha typing jobs and do faucets all day long don't worth. Faucets only worth if you do the high paying only using a good list and captcha typing jobs are just waste of time (too many impossible captchas to solve) and low payment.

Advertises like Signature Campaign or any other campaign on Twitter or Facebook are very good and fast to do, but i don't see many offers about Facebook and Twitter campaigns.  :(

For 1$ an hour I could monitor forum like this one, for some BTC company
and answer questions from users.
For 2$ i would be nice to those users :D
Translations or social media activities would have to give me more than that,
10$ seems fair offer.
Thing like captcha/forms/repetitive tasks would drive me nuts so I say no to that.

Well 8 hours daily i believe is too much time to do any of the works mentioned,i like captcha and may do faucet but not for such time,its insane.

i think 1$ per hour is very low as a payment i can get more with only signature campagn so why bothring for that job like solving captcha is a little stressed is about writing 1500 word in one hour and alll that for 1$ or maybe a little more and your head start to hurt you at the end,

$1 per hour is too low even for slave wages, to be honest. If it is an incredibly simple task, $1 per hour is fine, IMO. You will need to pay more than $1 per hour if you want to hire someone to keep your Twitter account alive or to tweet for you. Further, $1 per hour is extremely low for translation job considering that you need to translate hundreds of words from English to another language. I can easily earn more than $1 per hour for solving captchas, and your rates are too low. People pay per captcha solved, not per hour. Your rates might be reasonable for someone that live in the third-world countries. Well, you might want to take a look at TBN forum. There is a lot of "people" willing to work for $1 in that forum.

I think captcha data entry is the one that you can earn 1 usd per hour and you find it in services section.. but honestly i tried it if you are fast in typing you can make 1 usd or more in 1 hour..

I would not type out words for $1 an hour that would hurt your hands from too much movement in repetitive motions.
I can click on captcha though that is worth $1 per hour, but nobody will pay you that much for clicking. Maybe $1 worth in bitcoin per hour, but since bitcoin price changes so frequently, that amount is not enough.  :D

I would apply sunscreen to bikini models before a photo shoot for $1 an hour. Drive some rich guy around in a Rolls Royce. Be a food tester for a high end restaurant. Test fishing gear, firearms, powersports products for $1 per hour..

i can post all day if there was something paying me 8 per day, but it's a bit at limit i would prefer at least double of that amount, the minimum should be $500 a month

I would be a live chat rep and even if im free on live chat, i wont have no customers to deal with and I will still get paid so no stress or headaches. I can also deal with support tickets if i wasn't a live chat rep and with support tickets you are not in a hurry either so either way ill still get paid.

i would do anything that is legal, and of course if work is easy as solving captchas, then that would be very nice too, there are many works that gives 1$/hour but people are usually lazy to do them

and like i said,  i would do almost anything, if  i would have no job at all, then every work would be good for me not matter that it is 8$/hour only

Encoding is enough for $1, you know typing some documents on offices or government.

This question is highly dependent on the country of participants. I am sure that citizens of first world won't bother to do any of these activities for $1.
From the other hand people from middle east, parts of Asia, Africa will be gladly doing anything for that kind of money.

Exactly in France for example the have a minimum pay per hour in a regular job of over 10$.
But they need that money because everything from food to rent is more expensive there.
If they had to work for 1$ an hour they couldn't even afford their food.

Non-stop encoding for 1$? Encoding actually is worth more than that especially if you work in the government.

If someone will hire you to encode in their office in the government, they actually pay a decent amount of money knowing that encoding doesn't need any experience and any knowledge at all. Encoding only requires the skill itself and the mastery.

Nonetheless if I myself would do non-stop encoding, I'd choose to do captcha solving as it pays more than being hired by someone in the government. ;D Unless of course if they offered a higher payment than captcha solving's rate.

You can do that from gambling but as every human , you will get greedy and want more then loose and then start selling your properties and then start borrowing and then start either stealing or opening your ass to get penetration for $$ if you can't scam.so best is get a job.

Well as regards a job, that's my perspective. I personally won't work for no one. Working for someone seems like am enslaved so that's why I said I see getting a job as modern slavery. I do my best to try making atleast 0.5btc daily and I don't see the possibility of any firm paying me that much .

Like every biz, if you want to gain you have to invest. You will never go anywhere with faucet. I don't think you will even be able to make say 0.1btc  from faucet

solving captchas would be useless, but type something like on blog, writing articles can be done. But I'm somewhat bad at blogging.

The following are things that I've done for $1 per hour and I might still do: (I could do these for 8 hours a day)

1. Solve captchas (only with premium software due to faster speed and higher limit in terms of same time showing of captchas)
2. If I have less than 1K followers in twitter then yes I would keep the account live and post as needed
3. I would do transcription works

The following are things that I've done for $2 to $10 per hour and I will still do: (I could do these for 8 hours a day)

1. Translating works to my native language
2. Do some graphical works
3. I would do transcribing works

Captcha is not useless for me and now i am still solving captcha in captcha server like captcha typer.. but i am using multiple account and use a paid version to solve more image and fast responce.. i tried it and i can make 1usd or more in 1 hour..
It help to me because i just doing it 1 to 2 hours a day...

No $1 in the third country is big profit than fauceting for one hour . But for me, and for you this is low as a payment because we know about the signature campaign.. Others dont know this.. So capchas is a really big help in third country

Things that come to mind involve advertising on other sources of media. Like you said, tweeting or posting on a form of social media (which you can do while multitasking) would probably be a good choice for a job that pays 1 USD/hr. Reminder to all the first-world people that some earn way less than you, and that what it takes for them to survive for a month differs greatly.

Now, any job that you can possibly expect to be able to multitask at would be a good choice. Something that you can do on the side. Captcha solving (though some people do it) takes up way too much of your attention, and that's an issue. Perhaps instead of typing captchas you could offer those picture captchas where you select the correct shape/color/etc. instead. That would accelerate the process (potentially) and also allow the users to multitask which wouldn't bore them and would incentivize activity while they're doing something else on the computer.

Have you ever heard about transcription guys? I worked for a couple of weeks as a trancriptionist how ever the job is very hard for me and it's rate is $1 / hr.

Lets suppose the persons are normal and without any skills i had made in the past a dollars hour 1,50dollars the rates i made something like 40 dollars solo captcha on the time were the most fast way to get money .I would do captcha without problem but for a short time daily,i could do ptc as well or surf,autosurf.

There is no guarantee that you can earn $1 for an hour with paid to click sites. But if you are that lucky there are surveys on ptc sites that offers $1 and less than for only 1 survey but sometimes you need also luck to it because most of the time you can surely decline to it.

I think there are jobs that do offer $1 USD here in the Philippines in a fast food restaurant they offer $1.2 usd I guess for service crews.
You just need to look for the work and not work will look for you.

Initially reead the title as $10USD/hour. Got to thinking and I'd say I would work for that amount if I could do something leisurely that I somewhat enjoy in the comfort of my home. But $1/hour? There isn't anything I'd do that I wouldn't already do for free. Cost of living varies vastly throughout the world... but I couldn't imagine working for even 5-8x that amount on a regular basis... that little money just doesn't go anywhere in the US.

$1 per hour is very low, i think you cna do more with signature, and many account, 1$ is what 250k satoshi? you can earn that either with mining or signature easily

For me $1 is not low if you will get that income through internet,  because we all know that we can't get a job offer by working through internet like the real job offer has to offer.
But if you have a family and children, of course that amount is not enough to feed them.

It depends if you download or upload and if you do how many megabytes would be needed for 1 hour of $1/H.

These are the best rates for these works I think. I did captcha work in my past when I wasn't aware of bitcoin and the company paid me 0.35$ for 1000 words. and I typed 1000 words in one hour. so that time my per hour income was only 0.35$. but I wasn't even happy that time. and now I will never do typing for that rate.

I will immediately apply if there's a job that just doing nothing but sleeping and if this counts we will all become reach.

The average daily pay for a 8 hours job in my country is currently about $8.

As of my day work. I am an employee in a court and earn about $10 for a 6-8 hours working period including a break of 1 hour.

Here in my country the minimum rate for 8 hours is $10 - $11 it depends on the position but this is the basic rate for service crew positions.
But for positions who are rated per hour I think it is $1.20 per hour.
It suits that $1 per hour here is for service crew in our country.

what you really mean by back end jobs? are you a backend coder for web? 1$ per hour for back end developer is really like dust. I have seen lots of devs taking more than 20$ per hour in freelancer.

For me 3$ per hour will be fair rate for coding and 2$ per hour of work for other types of job including managing database, maintaing any site up and running, involve in support team of any site etc.

Wow that's a very cheap price for professional job. That could catch some clients fast as per clients always want to have cheap salary to their
hired employees and it is a good marketing way of your skill in the industry.

1 dollars per hour indeed too cheap . At least for every hour if you get five until ten dollars is sound good. Even when you have eight hours of job you can get 80 Dollars per day and if i calculate it during one month 80 x 26 ( if you want every Sunday you free) = 2080 Dollars per month. It is very big number of money.

Good question. I am earning 3$ per hour and I am doing article writing job. so my answer to OP is I will not do any work for 1$ per hour. as I am already earning better rate per hour bases. but for 5 or 10 Dollar I would like to switch my job. any good offer can be OK for me.

As long as you are getting paid for your work per hour or even not an hour but per project is a good thing. Because there are lot of
job offers that turned to be scam, so for me as long as you are getting paid with your job that is fine with consideration of price.

1 dollar per hour for a regular working job is really a small deal,  if ever it will be for a part time job it will be better since it will be added to the daily income.  So i think for a part time any job will do as long as it is within the 3 to 5 hours limit since regular work is 8 hours.  Avoiding overworked and to have time for a recharge for the next working day.  So i go 5 hours for any online part time job.

You can also try translation english to french and other languanges at altcoin section they are paying in bitcoin or altcoin..
Also captcha data work 1 hour per 1 usd or more in services section offered by letyouearn and zodiacsign..But i dont know if they are still accepting new workers..

If that is all you are earning then I would say you are not using your time wisely as anybody's time is worth more than just a dollar.
But then again any job that has you getting out of your chair and not sitting in front of a computer typing away will pay you more.

I was just wondering since I have 7 GB download limit per month in daytime and free bandwidth in night time.
So if I download more than 7GB in a month then I have to pay $1 dollar for every extra 1GB + $10 dollars that I pay for my internet bill.

This wont happen in my country, to earn $300 = more 3,000,000 rupiahs people need to have a good job which requires a high education background. We need to have at least a bachelor degree to have a $300/month, so it is impossible for 16 years old to get $300 monthly with a normal job.

In my opinion $1 per hour is really low. At least $2 is required for any sort of job. I could do verification jobs if I were paid $2.

Well, not all people are willing to work in other countries. They need to spend a lot of money to work in other countries (at least at the beginning) Not all people can afford it.
Other thing is that "different countries-different languages", in this case not all bachelor degrees has the ability to speak multi-languages.

for 1$ a hour i would probably do signature campaign or solving capthas, just this work is usually very boring and takes some time usually, but for 1$ a hour it is still good work

and for more like 4$ or 8$ a hour i would do harder works like translate something to other languages, or advertise campaigns on social networks like facebook or twitter

Captcha works are really doesn't works, you can't even solve 15 captchas a Minute and 1000 captcha an hour. so basically with captcha typing you can't earn more then 0.4$.. lots of people still doing captcha work because it is sill better then faucets and ptc sites which pay very less for work.
finding a job for 1$ hour is not easy at the web. but if you use your mind you can make more then 1$. like if you are good in marketing you can use a site's affliate program and make referrals for them. and get commission, it can take some time but after few weeks you'll get full reward of your spent time.

I have work a transcriptionist and I got $1/hr so that is one work that you can earn $1 / hr. But the work is really hard,
you need to listen to the audio clip and then write it for the translation. Sometimes the audios are very unclear and you can't even understand

It seems a very low rate, but in poor countries it could be an useful income. Unfortunately in my country (Mexico), ordinary people is forced to make great efforts to survive for around $10 dollars per day. And some other are willing to solve captchas all day in order to earn $0.30 per hour!!!

I think data entry jobs can make 5$ an hour depends on the client on how much salary per hour they would give to their workers but really i see some of that in upwork but its totally conplicated to get a job their since their so many competitors with excellent portfolio are seekings for freelance jobs to, but if you think you can do that job well try your skills their and earn money at that site.

Doing $1 job is something is a part time work and it is suitable for students or for those who has lots of free time.  Most of these $1 work can be data entry or Captha solving or any copy pasting work or even translation work.  You can even find $1 work in services section of this forum. A signup on few websites can also give you $1.

1$ per bug is too little. They should pay you depending on how major the bug is. All games and applications, specially if money is involved, are made sure to have no bugs and would have no bugs. Although it is quite hard for something big to have no glitch and be flawless. If a game is full of bugs, it just proves that it's poorly made. I don't think they will pay you 1$ per bug because poorly made games aren't well funded in the first place.

Quite sure dude, you are right that with task to solve captcha can earn one dollars per hour if you have skill about that . But i am also sure do that task is not easy , not everyone have skill about that.

Even if you don't have  special skills you work as being a freelancers. There are offers like virtual assistants, data encoder, researcher and other easy jobs that someone in front of computer without needing any special skills.

Solving captchas for $1 per hour will push your sanity to the limits. The ration of work-to-pay is simply really bad. I would recommend working at McDonald's than solving captchas, especially if you have someone else to feed.

I'll take simple photo enhancement/edit for $1/hour as long as the project is ongoing and you'll never run out of projects or do some online tutorials.  $1 is so cheap, not the best deal even but it you can do if on your free time, it's better than nothing compares to playing Facebook games where you don't earn anything.

$1/hour is not high amount if you consider it as a main income but it is a great amount for a side income. For some countries, getting paid $1/hour as a main income is a big amount already. So it depends on ourselves to consider it, for me I will do anything for $1/hour as long as it is legal and it is not a hard work.

There's a job that you can be paid $1 per hour but it will take skill which is more likely you need to learn it. There's no possible way to earn $1 if you don't have enough skill.

I'd rather work in a day job rather than doing captcha's or translating. Because you will have a stable job and a fixed salary . You can also gain more profit if you will be promoted at higher level. But now, I would rather pick to translate language to language because its much easier than others and you also gain profit higher than captcha solving. Captcha solving is also easy to do but the time you use is so much wasteful.

Doin captcha is really tiring in spite of being a very simple job to do. As you said id rather find a day time job than to waste my time on captcha and faucets. In having a job you could earn  a fix amount that would be greater then $1/ hour. If you do have money then invest into trading  it might give you a good profit.

Nothing will beat translation I think this is the best work for oneself could do because you will enjoy translating and it will not be hard to translate English to your own language I also make my own  Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1558589.msg15644981#msg15644981) regarding the work that can be easily done.

$1 is something when converted to fiat in a third world country. There, they do lots of stuff for less than a dollar.

Posting on twitter, solving captcha, translation etc. are things they can do for you.

Most people in third world countries is having a stable income in solving captchas and that's right you can get a 1$ per hour in this work but you should be patient and not too lazy when working on this job.

1$USD per hour? I think it's too low payment. if you ask, maybe I will just translate 1 or 2 word for 1$USD because translation is not that easy, you know.

I prefer to work a part time back end job or a data management job for $1 per hour. Possibly I too make free lancing jobs as it gives better earning than $1 based upon the project.  Another thing is that sometimes on free lancing might get a long term project which is much worth.

Some may depend on solving captcha earnings even on those  3rd world countries could rely depend on that alone. Yes, those solving captchas would be very tiring specially if you do it  everyday but if i were those solving capthcas i would rather do signature campaigns it would give me better earnings and its worth of my time.

Depending on what the job is I would work for $1 an hour of I enjoy it, if I could earn more money from it (for example in commission) then I would definitely do it as I could make alot more than just $1.

Lol, No one will pay for that. In comedy movies only we can see these kind of things. If you need money You need to work hard for it. If someone will hire you to work in their office in the Government base, they actually pay in good amount of money knowing that encoding doesn't need any experience and any knowledge at all. Encoding only requires the skill itself.

In my country working hour is around 1.5 $ and for many even less. I work for that money 12 hours a day, and many thinks that I have good paying job! What a joke! Well if you are going to play some video games there are services that do offer to test run the games they developed and you are going to find some bugs to their games and you are going to tell them what it is and you are going to get paid as you play the game I think that is $2 per hour I just forgot what is it like.

For me, since I am not a family person $1 USD per hour is going to be enough for me to survive for a day so if Im going to work for 8 hrs / day then I'm going to earn $8 per day I think that is enough already here in my country since the minimum wage is ranging to $8 per day too.

Usually in one dollar it could top up your mobile load and share it to your laptop via tethering, then while you are working for $1 in one hour, I think you could do more if you could use two device at a time..

in my country $750 monthly salary with 1 wife and 2 childrens are enough for living nicely. by doing online freelance job like captcha typing for me it is not worth , i prefer to start build my own brand on blogging and video blogging.

Well sadly that is enough for me and a lot of people are enduring it with that amount because the fast food jobs here is paying $1 per hour so that is very accurate. well, mining could be a solution I can agree with you. but everyone can't do this. everyone can't afford to buy all mining equipments and necessary stuffs to start mining. it is very expensive and if someone buy mining rigs etc some how then it need more expensive electric and power supply.

yes the fact that mining has always need big capital. especially if you mining bitcoin, the equipment is more expensive than just mining altcoin, which could use the VGA and PSU. I have a plan to build a rig with VGA and mine ETH, like my friend, who can get 0.012-0.013 BTC/day

Well mining eth is profitable just for some people who have low cost for kw those still able to make profit, and be able to earn 8 dollars daily doing those its amazing if you ask me, it will mean 0.40btc montly soo isnt a bad income, maybe not enought for live but a good source. I am seeing that many people here in forum tend to say that mining eth is much more profitable. I think they are just the same procedure if you are going to mine like bitcoin. But the mining rig is going to be the difference for them.

Thats what i think also, mining eth and mining bitcoin could be possibly the same but  they differ  on the mining rigs that are being used. As far as i know  you can mine ether through cpu or in gpu using your pc but the  main  factors that affect your profit is the electricity consumption in the mining process.

I think mining ETH is going to be more profitable rather than if you are going to mine with bitcoin. It is just going to depend on how much you can invest to buy your own mining rig. And if you are going to think about it you can earn higher than $1 per hour if you are going to be lucky as you are mining with Eth.

1$/hour is VERY bad pay, i probably wouldn't even do faucets for 1$ per hour only, as there are many better ways to earn, much faster and better paid than that.

I would obviously not spend 8 hours for just 8$ a day, though that amount is a lot for me as a student but i cannot manage to spend that much time on anything in a day, maybe i can manage at least 4 to 5 hours a day, but not that much.

If you are a student then you would really a hard time to face a pc in 8 hours a day since you cant handle both studies and work with a minimal  break only it would really affect your health but  it is applicable to those person  who dont have job and $1/per hour is enough for me because the dollar rate in my country is enough to sustain my needs.

It depends on what person and  on what state/country does he live and  depends on his situation if he has vacant time or  hes a busy kind of person. $1 is too small in the view of most people but  in some thats enough already  as their daily salary because  it can buy already their needs.

Many people would do it because in their countries or places they live $1 is really a lot because they can spend just $2-$5 everyday for their needs, but it is really not that much for me and i would not like to make myself so tired for just earning $3 or $4 by working continously for 4 hours.

For 1 usd an hour I wouldn't do any work. 8 usd a day buys me nothing. I would need atleast 10 usd an hour to actually do a job and then it wouldn't be too complicated jobs just like twitter posting etc. I'm quite old so maybe it has something to do with that.

In my day job, I do have $2 / hour and I'm okay with it, because really, I can survive the whole month with just that, pay the bills, buy some things and have an extra money for bitcoin. For a dollar, I think I wouldn't mind doing simple things like typing or whatever. For $10, whatever the job is as long as its professional, I would do it.

1hr is actually not bad depending on how hard the work is. Not enough to pay for food and rent, though.

1$/hour is such a low rate for people in the first world countries, but people from third world countries who earn 1$ per hour are considered lucky. I think I'm not going to accept any job that makes me do a lot of work or repetitive tasks and just earn 1$ in an hour. Well that is a good way to become good in trading if someone is going to avail your offer for being a personal adviser in it. But I would love to do a job like transcription and get paid for $1 / hr. But the reality with it is that you can earn more than $1 if you are just going to be fast in transcribing audio files with its scripts.

Well i dont consider making captcha service a waste, with this method i were able to earn and make around 100 dollars in 3 months i believe, the thing is a hard work for a reward, sure isnt too much, but if you make some captcha all days and let the earning into your wallet for 1 year you will be surprised. Usually i do captcha when i get bored to to something else.

I would love to travel around the world and going to get paid. Even my salary is just going to be $1 per hour as long as the company is going to shoulder the expenses as I travel, then that is going to be the job for me. I can freely travel around the globe and getting paid even the rate is not that high but this is my dream.

1 USD isnt big money if we can think our time is not cheap but if i can earn money not work so hard or when i home in my free time it can be good 1 USD per hour  , usually i spent time to read news they can give to me when read news or watching news  in internet.

For one usd an hour i would keep some blogs up to date for example or do small helps for people I could help them to translate items from their website or maybe give some small webdesign courses but not much more then that cause one usd is not alot of money.

If $1 Is a big amount in your country then i wonder how the earnings of signature campaign means to you because you would probably earn more than $15 a week with it which should be a reasonable amount for you as you mentioned.

Well working with captcha's for $1 per hour is not going to be an easy thing. That is going to burn your brain if you are going to do that way.
But for me, it is better if you are going to do some freelancing job and you are going to earn as project based. Even though you are not going to get paid per hour but for me project based jobs are better.

In signature campaign you don't need to spend that much time like 8 hours or so, i'm a student and i don't have that much time to work contineously for 8 hours to earn $8 and if i work 8 hours a day for just 8$ a day then i really think that does not worth it.

Of course there is, so many people in my country that work for 22 USD for a month which is around 0.75 USD for a day. We don't get paid/hour here, we usually get paid for a month. And of course there is a reason for it, I think it's because the cost of living here is cheaper than in other countries.

I want to confirm you here in my country there are jobs that do pay lesser than $1 per hour. They are getting paid weekly , semi-monthly and monthly. The girl that I'm courting right now is just only earning $67 monthly. So that is very low and her job is to be a crew of a shoe store, even though the job is not really hard but still the salary is not acceptable.

That's normal in Asia, underpaid workers...Specially those attendants or those who are working in small stores and those waitresses, they are usually paid very low and sometimes just enough for their foods everyday... Lucky if the owner offers free meal each time they are working... But if you are a skilled worker such as cook, welders or those who are playing major parts in the industry that you are working on, you will be paid good...  :)

Yes it is really normal in Asian countries, of course the business owners or companies are going to depend on their sales on how much they are able to give they workers salary. And most of the poor countries are in the Asia, so even though the rates of their salary is lesser than $1 per hour still they are hitting the job. Because it is better to have low rather than no salary at all.

That's right... It's better to have a job than none...  In fact if they earn $1 an hour that's big enough...Some of them are relative of the owner and if not, they are the ones that have no choice... I think 1 USD per hour is very low paid job. I think Only capatha / Faucet workers are happy to work at this rate as they do not have any other constructive skills.

Well a lot of people are going to be happy already to accept if a job that is going to pay $1 / hr and there are a lot more that accepts and being pay lower.

Because there are some countries that are really poor and they are only being paid low for their hard work.

And they are thinking that it is better to get paid at low salary rather than to starve to death and have nothing to do with your time.

I can do some data entry and research works for $1 / hr for sure that is going to be an easy job since it is just going to pay you small amount. But I guess in real world no one is going to pay that especially when you are already working in the industry for a big company that simply task is going to make you hundred bucks.

This is the first time I hear that translation job is hourly-based, as I know it should be based on how many words/pages you are going to translate. However, $10/hour would be a nice income. Here in my country earning $10/day is a big income already so $1/hour is a good amount for a side income.

I think you have a point, for a third world country earning 1 USD per hour or 8USD in 8 hours of work is good enough to support  one family.  So probably in a rural are of a third world country they are willing to work really hard to earn that amount.  From farming to fishing to construction worker to housemaid. BTW housemaid  in my country have a salary of around 100 usd per month.

But I think this is my first time is heard about that and I don't think the translator is get their salary for an hour and I think a lot of their portfolio is already signing how many of their salary and I guess that is already prepaid.

I guess there are competitive translators that are going to accept even lesser than $10/hr because the competition is already tough for that job.

And even though they are going to be professional translator if I am the one who are looking for translators I will simply choose those who are affordable to my budget.

I earn hour something like 1-2 dollars, soo be able to earn an extra dollar on my free time i will do it. Before i were earning something like the 4 dollars hours, but the thing is people will do anything  to get an extra source of income.

I would rather work on my studies since I am going to earn a lot from my work rather than wasting time here.

However as a part-time earning, I prefer signature campaigns and faucets, I try to make constructive posts and enroll in some campaigns. Also I have a list of well paying faucets where I visit 4-5times everyday and am earning around 100K+ satoshis there everyday.

To say the least I am pretty happy with this part-time earning of mine. :)

For one USD an hour I can't do much work since that's about 8x below minimum paid. I'd do small jobs like liking a page, retweeting etc.
But bigger things that require time I wouldn't do since it's just not worth it for me.

In the Europe it's very not worthed for doing a job with the payment just for $1 for hours, I can say the salary of the foreign person is more than $1000 for a month... but that's correct if applying in the 3rd world countries.

Yes there are a lot of people who are going to work for $1 / hr because ASIAN countries are accepting that salary and many poor countries here in Asia that is the standard rate per hour and there are some jobs that do pay lower than that. European countries are rich so they are not going to have $1 / hr jobs that is for real.

Several people do use faucets and they claim something like 200-3000 satoshis hour, if a project has this were possible to be made it would have already a huge community earning and doing almost all kinds of tasks. The big question would be where would you get such income, with networks ads or with some companie promoting the business.

High or low it's relying on your environment and where you live, and how the average cost of living in your environment and especially for the poor country the people with salary $8 for 8 hours it big enough... i can't say if that is a low salary.... but that is just applied in the Europe and the developed country...

Actually when i was newbie, in that time, i started chapter and i was earn 1USD during the 1 hour, even i didn't need it and i realize, it is totally lazy work, because i want to do more than it and i want to earn more than $1, than i did investment and also i did trading, but i realize signature campaign is best for working wise and also it give us information about crypto currency.

Agree with you, adsense  became too strict since its been abused  by some users on previous years same as you said. For one dollar per hour i wouldn't work actually since minimum wage is about 7x higher then that so in an hour I'd waste 6 others.

Typing captchas would be really tiring as for earning 1$ per hour with captcha typing you would probably need to type captchas for the complete hour which is really boring and tiring, i personally wouldn't like something like that to just earn 1$ per hour.

That's right, i have seen people saying they live their life with just $80 a month which is actually nothing for someone lives in a 1st world country, even in my place 80$ are nothing for a month as we have expensive things these days.

Though solving captchas and tweeting pays too low but i don't think anyone would give 1$ for just 100 words as 100 words wont make even a good paragraph, so if such a job is given to someone no one would say no, and by the way 100 words wont take an hour to be written.

For 1$ per hour it should be something simple that doesn't require too much work, effort and resources. So, maybe something related to answering on customers phone calls or maybe quick posting on Facebook or Twitter. But in some poor countries 1$ per hour could be a lot (sad but true) and there people work realy hard for that money.

You can try to visit the services area many are offering those type of social media campaigns but they are not paying per hour. But they are paying for the cover of whole week for just sharing some of their websites and re-tweeting their post. Agree, im one  of those  claimers  on those faucets, i could really say that time i could  make decent amounts  on it  but sad to say raiblocks just last for a  month only because of  some dev problems regarding with the coin. I could able   to do also 2000 captcha in an hour same as yours.

I think that this is really not the best advice but here is how i do with not less than a $100 per month. I do spend 2-4hrs  during weekdays and 4-6hrs every weekend working on my pc because i am still a student and am quite busy.

Typing work is really tiring because as you said you will have to write around 2000 words in an hour which makes you bore as well as you will get tired of it after some time, if there is something that is interesting and pays 1$ per hour then that is good but such things are really tiring and boring both.

Well there is a lot of sites which allow you to make 1$ per hour or more, especially if you are hard worker. If you have the time enough you can start making offers and surveys, and tasks online and you could easily make more than 1$ hourly.

If you have good amount of referrals on some high paying faucets you can easily making 1$ or even more per hour. You can also writing articles and getting paid per word.

Surveys are something i dont like, i were member of one paid to click and i had made my profile, then i got two or 4 surveys to me anwser after they get my 20 answers they say i didnt qualify for the survey, meaning they got my information, and i were honest and they dont wanna those, they wanna those people which lies over those. Faucets to earn 1 dollars its a hard way not impossible but hard, better captcha faster and easy.

I tried surveys too before and I haven't got anything, they would deny your answers sometimes, faucets are too hard to do, believe me, I did that so many times before and haven't earn $1 in one hour... I don't think even you are going to have a lot of active referrals with faucets that is still not enough to earn $1 / hr. Because most of the people who are into faucets will get tired.

I am not agree with you, you know most of the members who are working now in the signature campaigns, majority are those person who have done a lot of letter work only for $1 per hour. and you should go to the service section and see a lot of different short work a here and they are starting for only $1.

Take note that some stuffs will make you earn 1$ will take a lot of time to prepare. For example, in twitter campaign, you need to have thousands of followers before you can get paid 1$. In addition, people who has no source of income in real world or unable to find a day job will take the offer even if it's just 1$ per hour. It's an additional income for them. Better to have little income while using the computer than have no income at all.

At first when I signed up here, I was stunned at what people here were doing for just a dusty 0.0001BTC reward.

Here in my country there are people who are coming all over around the city just to pickup scraps. And what they are just earning is $1 for whole day.

I saw some posts talking about doing surveys to get money. Here is my view on it:

Most surveys are looking for US/UK/AS/CA and other Tier 1 countries, Asian countries like where I live never get any surveys at all. But again Tier 3,4,5 are the poorer lot - the rich get richer, the poor get poorer.

10$ USD is a bit under the minimum wage here in Australia. I'd definitely would not accept a job that pays $1 or $2 an hour unless it's doing something that doesn't require much attention and is not physically or mentally demanding. In other countries like Indonesia it might be a lot, but here it's not.


Captchas I would do for $5/hour while $10/hour would be for something like translating.

I was working for $1.4 an hour when I just started working and it made my monthly earnings $225. If we count that way, I used to work for 160 hours and my job was much more complex that what you mentioned as it was code testing. Translating is still simple if you do it everyday but I would only code test for $3-$5 per hour as that's what I am comfortable doing but for a freelancing job, you can get paid as high as $25 per hour. Depends if it's a permanent or a freelancing job.

The current rates of captcha are low, but on the last 4 years it were 1,50 dollars -1000 captchas, and with speed, i do remember to had made into two weeks around 60 dollars,  sure its requires dedication, but with faucets you cant make such, sure signatures pays better then any other free way but not all able to join them.

Well, back to topic, $1/hour is average fresh graduate salary in my place. I think you can offer your services in freelance website or even in this forum, go learn some skill or do something unique that you can do in your country. Not always must be a serious service, try look at Fiverr, some people offering to write text in the beach and took photo of it, and yeahh many people interested to buy that service. Translation service is also okay, but you need to master both languages.

Poor and  underdeveloped are  still the same for me since its reality after all. $1 per hour isnt bad at all  for those  who  live on 3rd world  country because as far as i know  those  amounts would  be really decent enough to make a  living. I can also do some other services other than those choices that you've said, like posting some links in the social media and do some painting for commissions and some other stuffs that is not that hard to do when you just follow the instructions. Well even I earning $1 per hour is already good enough and that is the minimum wage here in my country. But of course for a married person that is not going to be sufficient but for those people who are only single then this is going to be a good amount already but you really need to have a very tight pocket and budgeting of it.
