However, the profile name(username) is your permanent name that isn't changeable. IMHO, I'd say that if you aren't satisfied with your username then you can surely create a new account with an username of your choice & you'll be fine.send links or reply immediately. be quick. If 10 bitcoins or maybe 50 bitcoins is a small amount for you,then yes ,you can pay that amount and get a donator status which gives you privileges to change your user name.Apart from that,pretty much all the other settings can be altered through your forum profile information for free. Well some forums used to do that ... theymos is a very busy man, chances he'll grant a namechange are virtually zero. Donators have the possibility to change their names themselfs, but like mentioned before, it'll cost you 50BTC (about $20.000 at the current exchange rate). Theymos has granted name changes in the past, but only to very high ranking members that had a really good reason to change their names (usually to simplify or avoid confusion). With a newbie status and nothing at stake, i wouldn't even bother him with the question. If you don't like your name: create a new account with the correct name ;) Title: Re: how to edit you profile?
