So essentially, Yobit is collecting trading fees and selling the Lisk they bought in the ICO. Much, much earlier than anyone else can sell theirs. Sweet deal for them.

And of course, it's now one of the highest-volume traders on Yobit.  :D

I did see that quote, just didn't know if it was the word of god or not.  I see what's listed on Yobit has traded pretty heavily thus far.  Not sure about altcoin derivatives and if they're good things.  Remember Long Term Capital Management?

Is Lisk mineable. If so, many people will start mining Lisk as Ethereum is get less profitable now and in the future.

Well, I have to credit them for seeing the anger & soothing over the delayed launch as a business opportunity. They were right, and it's hard to argue with success.

This is very confused situation and everything is possible especially if LISK team finally decide to release
holdings and send those coins to their owners.

One can only trade Yobit's LISK TOKENS. There aren't any real LISK involved whatsoever at this point, you see.

So how are they going to guarantee those lisk tokens will cover the real lisk when it goes live? How is any of it backed?

Well don't ask me, I'm highly sceptical towards this dubious move of theirs.

When people move their BTC out from the sales and nobody or few put LISK in to cover their "futures" sales it's going to be a shit storm. It's only going to hurt the lisk community while Yobit laughs and rebrands...

Yobit is so shady. Seeing as ALL the tokens were theirs at the open of the market they very well could just buy up at zero loss a bunch of it to create fake volume and a base price. Lisk may very well be valuated at this price when released but I don't believe for a moment that this is real action we are seeing. The exchange is ridiculously low volume and we are to believe that customers tossed 425 BTC at IOU tokens within an hour? Bullshit.

It's like an ICO of an ICO from Yobit. I don't trust them and look at the price, they must be crazy. Nobody buy from 30x more than ICO price. Yobit is looking for suckers who want to buy this without checking any information here.

^Yobit claims it will swap the LISK IOU Tokens 1:1 when actual LISK is launched. Whether they will do this or not, who knows.

In form, Yobit's "Lisk" is the same as a Nxter's "backed by IOTA" Asset. In both cases, you have to trust the issuer: trust that the issuer will make good on the IOU when the real coins get released.

Even 0.02 is too much for that, it might happen but it comes down like Ethereum later.

Ethereum has actually been trading a while, has some infrastructure in place.  LISK at the moment seems to be trading high because it is limited in it's trading, I think it will fall when it starts to trade properly. 

Some will buy and hold, traders will fly in, then it will settle down, until infrastructure is build.

this is also my concerned about early trading I don't see any concrete proof that this alt can be use in future development unlike eth who already got some establish plan for it to grow. and also lisk dev did said that it is not yet been release (real lisk coin).

The nice thing about lisk is that it will have a working infrastructure on launch. Dapps can already be devloped on the testnet and currently only bugts are being ironed out.

At launch we will have a fully working infrastructure with working dapps, which is completely different from most coin launches.

Its shitty, that yobit stays the only possibility prerelease.

What you guys don't seem to see, or willing to see, is that the current price at Yobit is artificial...
It's a typical offer-demand example... not much for sale and a huge demand!
Once the ICO coins get released, the offer(sell) side will take over the demand(buy) side again and the price will come down to it's normal level... After that it wil rise again, but I don't expect 500K in the next few months...

most traders are going to get hardcore losses, a very few will profit, exchange included.

basically a single exchange has already burned the market (and maybe even reputation) of a coin not yet existing

right now since nobody can sell their real coins on yobit everything is unclear and even the buys and the volume can be fake.
so by the time it is being released the high price might cause a big crash if the ICO holders sell their coins.

Yeah i saw this lisk yesterday with 0.006 price and now the price is very fast to increase in 0.015 in yobit.. and i think i am late to buy right now because its very high price.. i will wait for their faucet and wait for their wallet to be available..

Ninja launch is pure scam.

Announced fair release protocol is the only way to release coins with POW.
If dev wants a cut announce it and have escrows hold it and release to the devs when milestones are completed.

Ninja is for the dev that wants zero mining competition at the start where all the easy coins lay.

This is such a sad state of affairs.  People can't even wait to trade a shitcoin, they have to have this sort of thing to gamble with.  Crazy!  And what the hell is going to make this coin so special anyway?

Well people are bumping those lisk a lot again the volume on the 500btc ouch maybe the people will try to keep the current price,but i believe the coin cant keep that value after being live.

The whole thing, their silence , anonymity just smells really bad.  When it goes live people are going to scramble to sell. Its now $10 per coin. YOBIT reputation doesn't seem to matter to them and that to me smells like their going to do a runner just before Lisk goes live.

lisk price movement are very fast.. yesterday the price is 0.015 now the price is 0.021 unbelievable and i think this is just a beta altcoin because i dont see any wallet to download or to install..

What is lisk is broken or does not work at the launch then the buyers on yobit will be screwed the most. This is a very dangerous game to be playing with IOU's.

There's only a web wallet but Lisk mainnet does not even officially launch yet.  Yobit only selling Lisk IOU tokens which is not the actual Lisk tokens.

Yobit shouldn't have added IOU trading, can't go any lower I guess to raise popularity and use of the exchange.

Yes it is very smart move from yobit to add lisk , many jump to get profit only including yobit .
But the past\current prices of lisk in yobit will definitely affect the real price of lisk when launched .

I guess we can classify it as "shrewd but shady." I'm someone who complimented it as shrewd, but I have roots in the Nxt-&-Nxt-clone subsector so I pegged it as essentially an "IOU Asset." These are run-of-the-mill in the Nxt world, tho' they all require trusting the respective issuers.

I'd sell my ico.lisk.io account along with the 12-word passphrase. The escrow would hold the BTC payment until the ICO LISKs are released officially and sent to your Lisk address.

Looks like yobit pulled another YOVI scam by artificialy creating insane prices for things that don't exist.

So, imagine. You're a 17yr old kiddie who just spend 50$ from his pocketmoney in LISK. And now you get 100BTC in return.

Ooooh it will be a bloody mess combined with a lot of tears when the greedy one's instant dump their LISK to claim those highly insane, scammy looking profits.

luckily for you guys, it's just a token that has nothing to do with the real LISK. Let's just see if Yobit will actually swap all those generated tokens into real LISK at the same rate first  ;)
IF they do, it will be messy - I'll be the first one to dump over 200k LISK, without any doubt or hesitation.
