Title: Unable to mine LiteCoins? Post by: btcsql on February 11, 2013, 12:29:15 AM Hello everyone,
In a feeble attempt to try to mine some litecoins, I have tried ScryptMiner and reaper13v4. All attempts to join a pool and start mining result in an error message. For ScryptMiner, it's "Couldn't connect. Try check user/password." (clearly my user/pass are OK) For reaper, it's "Couldn't connect to server. Trying again soon.." I tried disabling windows firewall entirely, and port forwarding 9332, 8080, and 8332 to my internal IP on the router, and nothing. What can I do to open up the path of communication so I can actually see what kind of hashes this computer can generate? All help is most appreciated, thanks. |
