Title: Mining on a VoCore Post by: LP12 on April 07, 2016, 02:19:37 PM Interested on mining on this $20 computer that only draws 250mA, runs OpenWrt. It has ETHERNET, WIFI, USB, UART, 20+ GPIOs but size is only one square inch...? ;D ;D ;D

And, it has less computing power than a RasPi from what I can tell, which is also not viable as a miner. Sorry... The day's of CPU mining really are behind us. Some will continue to do it.... but in most cases it does not bring a profit and does not even pay electricity. Low powered computers are great for controllers ... but miners themself not so much. One I still want to test out as a controller for other lotto is RPI zero. I'm still holding out till I find it for the 5 dollars it should be, I refuse to pay extra. It is amazing how long it has kept selling for higher then what it's normal price should be. But I think a RPI zero could be interesting for running a compac or two. Scratch that! Get a GL-AR150 http://www.ebay.com/itm/321850131925 $27 + $5 shipping heres some info: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/gl-inet/gl-ar150 Title: Re: Mining on a VoCore Post by: jpucela14 on April 10, 2016, 08:00:30 PM Interested on mining on this $20 computer that only draws 250mA, runs OpenWrt.
