Title: Bitcoin & Domains Marketplace
Post by: JayT on April 07, 2016, 08:11:39 PM
I'm making progress on my website. I listed a domain for sale last night. I only accept BTC and auction ends in ~29 days.  http://zznq.buzz/auction/?ult_auc_id=770 (http://zznq.buzz/auction/?ult_auc_id=770) (one of my personal domains) I also have a market chat, where you can offer to buy/sell domains: http://zznq.buzz/chat/ (http://zznq.buzz/chat/) The site offers a 3% escrow service for bitcoin/domain transfers between registered users. The escrow is not mandatory to use in chat, but recommended.

What I understand is that you have created a domain marketplace exclusively for bitcoin.I appreciate your idea and hope it becomes on of the leading platform to buy ans sell domains for bitcoin

In regards to the domain marketplace site that you made, you have to do more works in fields of security to ensure safety of users information by acquiring SSL certificate at least and do more safety measures in regards to payments since your relatively new here and escrowing deals isn't that simple and users won't trust you. In regards to your domain extension, not sure if it's a free one but in case it is, it would be best if you get a better domain name with a .com or .net extension. In regards to the theme you used in WordPress, it would be best if you purchase a premium one in order to look more professional.

Another thing that I didn't like was this:
Quote
DISCLAIMER: BY USING THIS SITE YOU AGREE THAT I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TRANSACTION BETWEEN YOU AND A 3RD PARTY. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING YOU SAY, OR FOR PROTECTING YOUR SYSTEM. YOU CAN BE BANNED FROM CHAT FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN ADMINISTRATOR DISCRETION.
No one will use your site unless you ensure them and by what I red, your in the wrong path.

Lastly in regards to your faucet rotator, try to make the iframe larger in scale.

Thanks, but I disagree with almost everything you said. I don't need ssl because no transactions are done over my site. as you know btc is open source and the system has nothing to do with my site. Same for domains, that's managed by registrars, registrars, DNS, etc. My site is open source as well! I don't delete the data, there's no personal messaging, everything is done out in the open, for everyone to see forever.

escrow with btc and domains IS simple, IF you know what you're doing. Sure, it's easy to get scammed using BTC, or to have your BTC stolen! HOWEVER, if you know what you're doing it's actually SAFER than anything else...it's like a scale. Domains are similar, domains can be stolen (it is rare), but there are ways to find out if it might be stolen. Like I said in my first post, to use my site, it is not necessary to use my escrow service, but recommended. I understand it takes time to build this "TRUST". I am just starting, I don't expect anyone to trust me yet! I do have plans to develop that trust when I'm ready though.

About my domain. LOL! It's awesome, I don't care what you think. This is purely your opinion and mine differs, end of discussion.

The disclaimer: Yea it might not be assuring to the user, but what am I suppose to say? <sarcasm>"If you get ripped off by Joe Blow I will reimburse you 100%. If you get arrested for illegal activity, blame it on me because I promote and encourage it. If you download and install malware from the chat I will fix your system. Act as stupid as you want in chat, rip everyone off and just troll 24/7, it's alright, no one can ban you."</sarcasm> How does that sound? are they assured then?

3% is a rather high escrow rate.  I don't think your service will take off with such a high fee.

Yes but he says escrow is optional so buyer and seller may agree to use off site escrow service if they want.Flippa and sedo charge more than this for any transaction on their site
