I think there will be mass selling before the halving. This is just my view on the way things too me happen. A stable price, then it falls sharply for no reason. Such is the way bitcoin is. The triangle doesn't leave price much room to move, Bollinger Band width has been low and flat-lining for longer than previous lows, and volatility is near its historic low.
My guess is that price is going to move sharply very soon, within two weeks. Now that I've said that, expect price to flat-line for much longer! Disclaimer: long-term holder, I'm not betting on the price movement I've described above. If Coinut hadn't messed up its sig campaign so badly I'd consider buying straddles, though. I am also expecting something this month, since the quiet time is so extreme. It is not possible (not likely) for the market to stay so dead for much longer. It is a recent high. So if it stays with 10 days of that price, it is very good. |
