Title: Looking for devs to build a multiplayer game
Post by: Devology on April 08, 2016, 05:04:01 PM
Hi everyone :),
My name is Devology, and this is my first ever post in bitcointalk.
I am just blown out amazed about cryptocurrencies.

And, with that said in mind, I am looking for coders, with any programming knowledge.
Together, we will create a browser multiplayer game using bitcoins, and also we will be friends  ;D.

I will supply the funding of the game, for the servers and etc.(advertisement, thats after finishing and beta testing it to the public).

However, I will not pay you straight forward, and, I will always be the boss of the project. Unless said otherwise.
If everything is going fine and once the game is released and "making" money you'll get your lifetime % share (depending on how much you worked).

We will use Node.js for the server side, but I'm open for suggestions if stuff can be made better :).

Also, this is not a project to be full time on. Consider it a side project.
The project game idea isn't decided, so any ideas is welcome.

Reply to this thread if you're interested, do not PM me please.

Once I see that you're a good guy (you can create a new bitcointalk account, doesn't mean you don't have one that you cant, wouldn't care less), I'll PM you and ask for way to contact each other, maybe using gitte[Suspicious link removed] or Skype, and, I'll give you right away access to the vps :).

So there's no guarantee of receiving any sort of payment for building an entire game from scratch?

Not a guarantee, but this way the people I'll be working with will do it to make it an amazing product and hard earn their money instead of "doing for money and stop" or me getting scammed.

If this is an issue and you really need money for something I'll be glad to pay you for what you worked so for, or the amount you request if I trust you enough.

Creating a game isn't a very easy thing to do, it often takes months to finish and that is if you are lucky. Working that long on a project with nothing other than a promise to possibly make money isn't very attractive to most people.

You are right. It isn't very attractive for most people. Since most people just wants money.
And I am not against that. Infact, I want to earn money as well with this in the future, but, for now, I am not going to pay anyone.

So this is what I am going to add: this is a project for fun. To learn how to code, make some online friends, the how-to manage a full project, and make it work.
I am not going to say that I am a "good" coder, since I'm learning something new every single day.
But, I believe that someone or two wants to participate into this effort of learning together and investing our time into a project and coding together.

You said , "I will always be boss of the project ".Well, you certainly have no idea what team work is like and then that's the least thing experienced devs like me would follow. No money for the project and you want to boss over us ? Sorry change your attitude, even if you get a few devs to work under you, let's see how long the last.

I am very sorry, I once sold 50% of an enterprise, and they screwed me up with legal work.. and they tried to take over etc long story.. I am not bossy at all, I will edit it if you dont mind. I promess everyone will be treated equally and I will pay them an amount once they join the project if wanted. I would prefer someone that shows their skill before wanting to get payed but I dont mind, again.

Also, if the project will be great I'll invest into it a million dollars or something.
