My friend wants to mine with me from his home. i want to get his hash-rates for my solo mining. How make a connection between Us? Give your friend your IP address and use your router to map a port to the local IP and port of your computer that is running the altcoin sofware. You will have to alter the .conf file to add a username and password for them as well. Your friend will point his GPU miner at your IP address and the port you specified in your router.
