If you want to suggest that mods should not move threads, that belongs into Meta not Bitcoin Discussion.

As I'm guessing you are talking about this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=143208

Depends on what the purpose of your thread was, do you want a discussion about Mt.Gox services with the right people to discuss that topic? --> Service Discussions

Do you just want to complain about something that doesn't work the way you want and as much people as possible to read it? --> Trash Box

It's in the section where the right people will read it, so you get a real discussion, so whats the problem.

Unless you don't want a discussion.

Unless you don't want a discussion.

I find this to be more likely, since in his thread he was talking about how he and his "friend" are going to open an exchange.

OP, you are the dude who always puts threads in the wrong forum, aren't you?

If I want to read about mining, I'll go to the mining sub-forum.

If I want to read about services, I'll go to the service discussion sub-forum.

If I want to read about speculation, I'll go to the speculation sub-forum, etc.

Give the newbies some credit, I'm sure they know how to browse a forum. If they don't, the answer isn't to make everyone else suffer because of it.

You created this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=419374.0

Then you protested for like a week after by creating alt-coin threads in "Bitcoin Discussion". I remember reporting them.

I bet you go to the local public library and move books to random locations because you think the Dewey Decimal System is pointless!
