Use the search, plenty of how to's here. I'm afraid you're wasting your time BTC mining on your PC.

OP didn't mention mining,

to get a client go to bitcoin.org/clients.html (http://bitcoin.org/clients.html)

The standard client is Bitcoin-qt but the initial load up can take days, this is being worked on. If your computer crashes and you don't have a backup somewhere else your money is gone.

Electrum is pretty good. You don't store the blockchain which means it has a faster start up but it doesn't help the overall bitcoin network.
Electrum is a deterministic wallet and that means if you write down your "seed" and password you can recover your money if your computer dies/crashes.

blockchain.info (http://blockchain.info) is a website that will manage a wallet for you, but there is a chance they could run away with your money ... same as any other website/ third party wallet.  If your computer dies you can just go to the website from another computer.

 There are some others too

Here is a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSmxbtFQlmg) I put together with step by step instructions on how to get started.  This video was created for users in the U.S., but much of it applies regardless of where you are located.  You just may have to look for a different method for funding your bitcoin wallet.
