I see the LISK faucet https://faucet.lisk.io/ is giving away 1000 LISKs to new web wallets? are those real LISKS ? Will they be tradable once LISK is officially launched ?

yes they do but you can only received once per ip I remember getting mine and that was 2 months ago I am not on lisk just trying out how good ther wallet is but I think this coin is very interesting

I found this via another forum and put in my address, seems to have worked but 1000 LISK just doesn't sound right.
Are these the same LISK ICO coins currently trading at around 0.005btc on Yobit?

Nope, the faucet uses a testnet Lisk while IOU Lisk on Yobit which is currently being traded.

And the IOUs are not a sure thing as well if it will actually be a real Lisk once launched.

I think you cant still get any list faucet because of i dont see any wallet available about this project also in yobit there's no deposit address for a lisk..
I just exploring their official website didn't see any wallet installer for there lisk project. So you can't receive any lisk or claim lisk in any faucet from their official website..

so no sense claiming it from faucet if there's no wallet available? and yes the lisk from yobit doesn't have one too, we really need to wait for the final release of this coin and what the dev will say.

The testnet coins could still be handy to play about with.

That's such a load of baloney.   Lisk faucets won't even exist in a couple of months,  that's my prediction.   It's a garbage coin just like the majority of them.

we all aware that lisk will be launch not too soon so if this one works we can hold free lisk. will try my luck guys.

You can only get testlisk now. After launch the site will get updated and than you can collect real Lisk
