Title: "Nothing to mine on"
Post by: NoWhammies on February 14, 2013, 09:28:11 PM
So I download GUI Miner and when I "start mining" it says in the bottom left corner "Nothing to mine on". How do I solve this?

Learn how mining works? To answer to you i would have to copy-paste a guide, so please go and read some yourself.

Let me just sift through the plethora of information you gave on your setup and I'll get back to you in a few hours.

... ok well, I was mining along just fine and I got malware and had to reformat. (Before doing so I sent my bitcoins to another wallet on another computer) So I went through the same process of getting a wallet and downloading the GUI Miner. Then I used my original worker and when I run GUIMiner a box appears saying "No Open CL devices found" I'm using 2 Radion HD 5750's with xfire. I know nothing of "CL Devices"

Reformat? Nifty. Operating system and service pack level? What version of Catalyst are you running?

I'm guessing the OpenCL drivers for the card have not been reinstalled since the reformat.
