Title: Bitvest.io not paying out (24+ hours)
Post by: bitvestscam on April 18, 2016, 01:38:15 PM
I invested 2 BTC in BitVest about a week ago. I tried to withdrawal yesterday, and it said the hot wallet wasn't full enough. OK, thats fine. 6 hours go by, there are some moderators etc in the chat saying, and I'm getting a bit annoyed. Withdrawals, especially for an amount that small, should not be taking that long. They also have this lovely feature that allows you to gamble while you wait for your withdrawal ( ::)), so I played until I went down to 1.5, tried to withdrawal that amount. Nope, hotwallet still too small. Then I play until Im down to 0.5. Still won't work. It is now 24 hours later, and I still can't even get 0.50 BTC out of this site. I would highly suggest playing elsewhere if you are playing with more than a few satoshi.

Sorry to all of us who have invested in this site.
I too have.
Probably lost, if this site does not pay, as OP suggests.

I need to squeeze something to death - that's how i feel right now.

All those scams in BTC-scene!! FU

Ughhh

Most sites do not have 24/7 support. Even Directbet, which is known for having an excellent support team takes a few hours to process requests. I invested once in SatoshiDice and it took more than half a day for the hot wallet to have enough funds for my withdrawal.

You cannot blame the site for your betting away your coins, there is something called self-control!

Contact the owner (here in BCT) directly, instead of running yelling scam so quickly...

Don't care about the lost funds, I just think its funny that I can't withdrawal but I can gamble. If you read my post you would see I'm asking where my 0.50 BTC remaining balance is. No site should take 24+ hours to get a withdrawal that small. I have been gambling with Bitcoin for years and have never had to wait even 12 hours before (and thats for withdrawals much bigger than 0.5).

Bitvest is owned or co-owned by lightlord. They own 777Coin too & they haven't paid us for the signature campaign. It's 8 days late (last Sunday supposed payment date) & in fact they owe us for yesterday too. I'm a few days away from making a signature scam accusation thread in the relevant section.

First of all this thread should be l moved to scam accusations. No gambling site pauses the gambling just because the hot wallet is low on fund (since it will be refilled soon enough). The fact that they didn't process your withdrawal in time kinda sucks but you could have waited for a day or two. I hope you resolve your issue soon.

I already have waited over a day. Not expecting them to shut down their site when hot wallet is low, I expect them to keep an eye on the hot wallet and make sure it can payout when people want their money.

First of all we told you this was an isolated case as it stands. The admins weren't even around for a better part of a week yet they kept the wallet full.
The admins were busy with other stuff it happens, its not like this is a constant issue. Also the hot wallet is normally filled up with a few btc.
sometimes people come in invest for a sec, withdraw then its killed but normally they're is lower withdraws.
Like most sites bitvest only holds a certain % of btc in hot wallet. I told you normally the admins show up really quickly.
For the most part if the hot wallet empties an i message the admins they are normally there with in 30 minutes.
An for you betting your coins away that's your fault if you checked the op its been open since 0ctober 26th an they have never not given someone a withdraw.
As it stands there is nothing us other mods can do, an we continuously kept telling you sorry this normally don't happen because it don't.

Bitvest is not a scam never was never will be an you outright calling things scams don't make it true.
Shit happens its how the world works, you would have gotten your full amount if you hadn't bet it.

As it stands your coins have now been sent to you, not because this thread.
The site owners don't even know about it, because zod just got back.

A few mods explained what the issue was an tried to hide nothing, like responsible site mods we answer to the users.
Next time you call something a scam please understand the full definition of scam we explained to you an tried to hide nothing.
Scam:
A dishonest way to make money by deceiving people

Oh don't forget to mention i showed you the pol system which shows where all the coins are if the site was a scam these wouldn't show.
They've put a lot of work in so all users know where all the funds in the site are, its not like your coins left the system.

We're sorry for the long processing delays, I was out of town for a week helping lightlord with some urgent personal matters. During this time, our Trezors weren't functioning on our Androids and we were both without access to a PC for a few days as well. We should have posted something explaining that there would have been delays for a couple days but were too overwhelmed with the urgent matters to do much else.

For the issue of the smaller withdrawals requiring manual processing. We had an unusually large volume of withdrawals that day causing our hot funds to run low.

As others had mentioned in this thread, contacting us directly would have given a much faster response, creating two new forum accounts to accuse us of scamming is not the proper way to get support.
