Do you thing that now Bitcoins are going up and up, WHY ?

I personally think that in the long run, they will go up.
Why?
- because less coins will be mined (halving every ~4y)
- because coins will get lost
- because people will eventually see that bitcoins are secure, fast and cheap, creating a bigger demand

So less coins + bigger demand = higher price.

But that's just my personal belief.

Well , I guess it's going up of course , more investors and more people are getting fimilliar with Bitcoin and start using it , OpenBazaar opened , SegWit updates are coming soon & also the halving block reward . All those should affect the price with one way or another .

Long term it will definately go up.. Looks like the 400 range is the new bottom after the price increase at the end of last year. Once this floor is solid there will be retests of the recent highs and probably a nice pump as well around the halving.

The halving probably wont have as much of an impact as most people think, but the downward pressure might be just a little bit lower from that time on.

I think bitcoin will be going up and raise its price and will be good for the users who were first and have joined before the halving.

I think bitcoin will always interesting and has a high price. bitcoin now have a graphic that continues to rise. I believe that with this positive sentiment bitcoin payment media will be widely used in the world community. bitcoin will become the new global era.

Yup, I do think the price will go up. The price will go up due to the natural growth that Bitcoin will have throughout the years. More users, more investors, more local merchants, and who knows, perhaps we can even welcome Wall Street at some point. That will be the major thing in the future of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the unique currency that I've ever met. It's value quite high recently because as we can see there are many demand on this currency and it's has limited amount of bitcoin. For example there are some hotel and restaurant that accept bitcoin , Altcoin named Eteherium ( ETH ) is being used by Microsoft as we know they are the biggest computer company !

I think that many people later will use Bitcoin and that is quite nice because so we can make it more popular and that is good, but you have to be also some patience.
The best thing that you can do now to have some profit is that you must trade around this time.

bitcoin is rising little by little, and bitcoin will rise rapidly if only more people start using it and become popular in the public and use it on daily basis but that is far from happening.

Yes your belief are thoughtful, but my also opinions are here, because now halving is coming so mostly people want to buy bitcoins and thats why the price of bitcoins are going up, otherwise bitcoin has a easier and interesting way of earning on internet, so mostly people attract it and earn the bitcoins.

In a long term it should be up. Even with no halving or major news it should be up in the future. If not then bitcoin is really a dissapointment by most of the bitcoin enthusiast and speculators specialist.

But when it exactly will go up? Stay tuned.

I think bitcoin has a good way ahead. The price is increasing along with increasing people using bitcoin. I/we just hope that it keeps on doing that way. Or atleast people will recognize it.

But I hope we will go up sooner or later this year.
Why? Well there a few reasons why Bitcoin could rise in value.
1. Halving is coming

2. Core is doing a really good job at the moment in terms of scaling --> SegWit, probably a functional version of LN in summer, Schnoor Sigs

bitcoin will raise up definitely. as we can see so many people getting involved  into bitcoin. so many marketplaces being launched. openbazaar is biggest example of it.. I think bitcoin will go higher then ever.

I think the bitcoin will down but it will up again and up, but in the future i think the price is going up..

Bitcoin will go up and up and up because, the users want it, they see it as a good alternative (during Greek crisis) and the community will always make the bitcoin better better and better. The more you refine a thing the more is it's price.

the bitcoin will go up because the demand for bitcoin will be bigger and bigger as a lot more people knows bitcoin. and the halving will be in effect where the freshly generated coins reduce creating a lower supply but with a bigger demand which creates higher prices.

growing up if we see the price always raise up,and some project have been laucnh,its good for bitcoin,i think bitcoin grow up with better on this year,and we can hope that next year will be more better than this year.

I think bitcoin is a revolutionary invention that helps us a lot when it comes to saving our money.
We all know that bitcoin was invented because of the financial crisis that the banks been getting in the past years.

yes the price keep raise since last week,1 Dollar each day so far,its good,and i think everybody love this thing. yes we are lucky to be first one joined before and after bitcoin halving.

Yes, i think bitcoin now going up. There are many people realize that bitcoin is good for future and many people start using bitcoin. And it's also the halving, which is so close now.

according to my vision, bitcoin will continue to increase but slowly. Why? because we will be close to halving. so people began to prepare to buy before the price increases bitcoin high.

Yeah price will go higher when halving will come closer but the good thing is price has started to rise slowly a moment and bitcoin will reach to a respectable position at the time of halving.

Bitcoin has reached a point where there is no fear of any mishap. Bitcoin has made its stand and now it will keep on growing. Thats my point of view of bitcoin.

well, smart people have bought their coins when the price was below $300 for a long while. people after that have had enough time to buy their coins well below $400. and the people after that have the chance right now to buy below $450. just make sure you don't wait too long with buying as you will miss another great buying moment then. buy and have patience.

Yeah bitcoin makes all its users happy at the time of halving by a very good price rise. By this mass adoption is expected as people believe that they can reach high positions with bitcoin.

i think you are mad you are one and only person in this thread who said this, you also don't know what you are writing. Open your eyes and also open your mind than read my question again, than i think you can understand.   

i can be wrong  for sure, but from my point of view there is only one direction, UP, the reason is so simply, bitcoin is what people need, the more people join into bitocin world, the best for all of us, and do no doub, more people will join for sure; also with the incoming halving bitcoin will grow yes or yes since miners/and others need to have profit about it..

bitcoin will more popular i think yes but for the prices i don't think will going up and up because very difficult to predict bitcoin prices movement
even you thought it's going up but in fact prices will going down sometimes

Halving is very near and therefore the price of bitcoins will rise much more fastly and to a great extent. It will bring more people to sell their coins and we have to see its after effects after halving. But we can not ignore the new investors coming into bitcoin after halving's positive reflections. So, I guess bitcoin will keep on rising around halving.

Listen man if you can't understand the question than you should read the other answers, may be you can understand, than you also can't understand after reading than i can understand you are out of mind. and i don't mind it. :P   

It is constantly going up so we have nothing to worry about ask the outlook of it looks promising when June-July comes around. Just keep collecting those coins and not worry about anything else.

There are a lot of people that thinks that Bitcoin will be more worth later and also more used and that can be nice because you see also that it is becoming more acceptable and that is nice.
The only thing that you need in Bitcoin is some patience.

For me, I think the bitcoin gonna go crazy in a few years. Many and many people are getting to know about bitcoin and everyone are showing interest on buying and holding the bitcoin for it to rise.
The more people will buy and use BTC, the more it gonna rise.

I think that Bitcoin is a great thing it give people the chance to get involved in something and make money out of it. Bitcoin is helping me save money and on top of that it helps me to make extra money.

You are right and I also think it will go up soon or later but its still of course the question when it will happen.
Because of this we indeed need patient and stay believing in the bitcoin, if we do this there is a good chance we will make profit for sure.

for now I say bitcoin will going up and up. why? because halving. I have seen signs of it. the current price of bitcoin has increased. but not too fast. Slow but sure :)

Even without halving bitcoin will definitely increase it's price.

There are lots of factors that can increased the priceeven without halving and one of it is by active exchange and trades.

yes you can say that halving is coming so that price of bitcoin is increasing, but i also think that the number of the people is increasing, i mean more people using and buying bitcoins instead of last 2 or 3 years. thats why the bitcoins is going up not more but sure.

Indeed, there are a lot of factors one of the factors is the number of users that is getting higher everyday the same rule applies also for stores so that is a good sign.
Because of this two factors the bitcoin would indeed already rise to a higher amount.

Well, if you look at it the long way, it will surely the price would go up and within years of existence, adoption would occur and probably that will raise the price higher and higher...

yes you are right, it will definitely increase but not sure. as before the price will be stable for a long period. but now almost close to halving and the effect of halving already feels that the current price has risen to $444

Yes you are right because when i was know about bitcoin than i buy it and save for the increasing price, also for halving, so the same reason with the other people, people are showing they interest more, that why bitcoin is going up.

My understanding (and I can be mistaken or not know how it works well enough) is that for it to go up, many Bitcoins need to be bought, and that can only be possible if there is a surge in interest about Bitcoin. I can see that happening progressively, but not too fast.

yes, it's the same as thinking, besides the price is going up, probably bitcoin is very suitable to be used as an ATM card, allowing users more easily use them. but I think it takes time because bitcoin is a coin that will always evolve

I think bitcoin ATM is already available in some countries, even in my country are also already available. even though only 1-2. but this is only a matter of time, and wait for the government to legalize bitcoin.

For me bitcoin will be double after block halving not so fast but in few months it will gradually increase week by week and month by month..
So i will collect more bitcoin so that i can make more profit i exchange it into fiat..

Every user were expecting a big rise on halving which might go even higher than $1000. Bitcoin price has more potential to grow and in the future bitcoin will surely get used as a alternate currency and payment method.

But we need that bitcoin should be used as a primary currency and not as an alternate currency, but it will we widely used and accepted in future for sure.

Romero said it well, Bitcoin is an alternative currency after all the fiat currencies that we have in this world. And btw, beside the fact that it is impossible for Bitcoin to be the primary currency, what is wrong with Bitcoin an alternative? You can already do nearly everything with Bitcoin.

not easy bitcoin to be primary currency. I think being an alternative its already quite good, as long as bitcoin be accepted anywhere and also many who accept bitcoin as a payment

yeah, i do think bitcoin will go up.
i mean why not, it is a great technology and it has been growing more and more in the past few months and nothing is stopping it from becoming mass adopted.
recently it became clear that steam is going to accept bitcoin which is awesome and going to affect the price greatly.

For me it sure the price will go up in a period of 2-3 weeks. But at least for the halving we can expect some turbulence in the market.
What will happen after that, is interesting too.

Yeah we will see great fluctuations in coming months but to be honest I feel that price will keep on moving up till the halving occurs and it will benefit majority of us.

Yes of course i m thinking because you can see last few months bitcoins price is going up and up, in my view, the reason behind the price increasing it is halving, because now halving is coming and mostly people want to get profit from halving and they are buying bitcoins,so that why bitcoin is growing up.

Price volatility will be different this year compare to a sleep tight status last year until 3rd quarter.

I think that Bitcoin is a great way to earn some extra money next to a normal day job because now I can also save more money.
It just helped me money wise in life but Bitcoin is not good as a main income.
