Trading what where exactly? On this forums? Or with bitcoins in general? You must explain more first.

You can activly buy and sell Bitcoin at Bitcoin exchanges, buy low and sell high is the key. You must know that it's High risk, but sometimes high rewards, i prefer with long term investment with big capital

then you can easily start trading. just buy when the price is low and sell it when it is high.

use google, youtube to learn about trading. get knowledge about currencies and rates and prices of them. trading need so many knowledge and skills. start with low investment. don't spent all your money in first time.

Basically same concept with redchips stocks playing. The value and prices there are very erratic. That if you know how to play it right, you will actually earn money from it. Trading with crypto is centered on Altcoins.

i think you need to begin with a good bot, with a good algorithm that do the job for you, without to much hassles

you should just stop fearing so much and start it. start trading with a very small amount so that if you made mistakes or lost a part of it you won't get depressed. then when you learn how trading works you can add to that amount and trade like a pro.

first of select a good treating website which is best suite for you (if you're going to trade with altcoins). And basic principle of trading is but at low and sell at high, for this you need some patients.

If you want to start in trading. First you must create an account in yobit.net and then deposit bitcoin in your account there and choose an alt coin that you want to trade and wait for it to increase its sell value. And if you found out that the value of the alt coin you chose increases its value then sell. Buy low prices alt coin then sell it with higher price.

Go to the best exchange by finding out on this forum or by google, select the best coin that worth trading, like ETH has got a lot of potential.
And buy with all you have when it is in -% and sell them when it goes to +% and all you have is profit.

I think following other in trading is very good specially for high volume coin don't hold the coin for long time .

I disagree, personally I wouldn't feel comfortable going into trading blindly and entrust my funds to a bot, especially as a newbie. I think it would be lot better if he did plenty of research and asked questions. Just my opinion but I would definitely want to start by getting a good understanding of what trading involves.

I assume you mean bitcoin trading.  There are several exchanges that you can trade bitcoin for fiat and other cryptocurrencies.  I think kraken, bistamp, and btc-e do trading but I'm not endorsing any.

Trading honestly its hard to learn it how trading works but i have some guide for just try your self to understand the trading in yobit.. join first in trading in yobit and you should have some capital to start to buy some altcoin.. just be suyre that you buy cheap and sell it high..
You can ask some people in chat room in the right box. ask them what is the best altcoin but most of them are not giving a good altcoin tips.. but you can try it with your self..

Look at my signature.  I use them for trading all the time.  I do not trade much, so there is not much risk I am taking, but they are a great source.  They also notify you a lot when it comes to new coins and such.

dont invest in bots , or in markets where are bots running they can kill you easy ,  always do research about the coin you are going to invest, and mostly important thing learn how to create and launch your own coin

Trading altcoin is a fastest to earn profit but it's very dangerous than trading bitcoin to fiat, due to so many scam or shity altcoin out there, they're only created to makes the dev rich, Etherum and Lisk are the best altcoin by features and implementation.

That's actually a good idea.
Just start trading with a small amount and do trade some altcoins you feel are nice, and see if it works out for you or not.
If it worked out, then you can start trading with a quite bigger capital.
And if it did not work out for you, then move towards something else and stop thinking about trading anymore.

Before you do trading, I would recommend that you first learn how to properly trade.  This is similar to stock, but it is not the same thing.  You need to know what moves the market and why and the signs that would make stock move is not the same as making a coin such as Bitcoin move.

i agree with ObscureBean, i don't like the idea of "starting" with a bot, all bots do is simplify the route you take to make profit they are not made to make profit for us, at least not the released ones, so you should first have a basic understanding of market and make some trades then use a bot to make it all easier.

Yeah buy low and selling high is the regular trading strategy. But with bitcoin buying low and selling high is not possible with bitcoin everytime. So different tactics need to be employed according to the scenario to grab the profit.

To do trading, you need some capital and know the basic of trading and find some public crypto currecy exchanges. Obviously that is the way of trading, to put your money and buy low sell high.
But a trader should take care of some things while he is doing that, like what coin to trade (if he is trading altcoins), and when is the right time to buy or when is the right time to sell them back, knowing these things will not let you get a loss in trading.

Getting into trading, without proper knowledge is just like going to attack ISIS without bullet proof vest. That is the reality on trading, you must be equip with proper knowledge and strategies before entering it.

If you have never experience of trading, so should becareful, because it is all risky. So you need help, if your friend or cousin are already doing trading so join him and do trading with him, actually if you start in search and then one thing you select where you want trading, so need trust, because i have experienced and i lost my one bitcoin, so i m advising you to join someone and start trading with him, that is better way. But if you have a skills of trading so only search it than you have no problem.

Trading is really not something that can be done without any knowledge or experience, and if someone thinks he will do it without that than he should be ready to lose what he invest in it.
Someone should do a lot of research and study before jumping into trading.

Kraken has high trading fees, coinbase has 1% fees, snapcard.io has 0.5% fees and okcoin has 0% fee at the initial stage.

You are just telling the way how a trade is done, and with that you can just trade but you cannot just earn profit like that because trading is easy but earning profits with it is the hard thing and that can only be done by experience and knowledge but not just with money.

I think the safest options would be mining (what is really hard these days) and trading BTC/USD (not as safe, but with less volatility compared to altcoins). If you want to avoid such situations, follow the advice given by others, hold part of it in BTC.

well, altcoin trading is not that much hard. and these exchanges sites made everything very easy.
you just need to keep your eyes on the market  and the price of each coin. and when you see a coin's price getting decrease you need to buy that and when the price increase again you can sell them.

I think yobit and poloniex exchanger that is suitable for trading altcoin. Right, with altcoin we can get more profit and trading altcoin also do not have to use a large capital. I prefer trading altcoin paired with bitcoin rather than dollars.

Never tried trading altcoins against usd personally, but i think trading altcoins against bitcoin would be much better for a bitcoin user because even if he trades against dollar he would use those money to buy bitcoins maybe so better to gain profits in bitcoin by trading altcoins with bitcoin.

That is actually the best thing to do if someone is new in trading... to just start with a small amount to try it out and later on if you find it working for you then you can invest more and if you feel you are not able to manage your trades and you are losing the money then just skip it and turn you way.

I would advise never trading with money you can't afford to lose. It helps take the emotion out of trading and you are more likely to stick to your original strategy.

i don't know why i always get panic in trading, anyone know how to fix my mentally ?

You could try trading a smaller percentage of your stack per trade. It also helps to have a defined strategy before you enter the trade. For example, lets say you think DOGE will be worth 80 sats soon. Before you enter come up with certain conditions like "If it reaches 60 sats I sell half" or "if it doesnt go up over X days I exit" or "if it drops below 30 sats I exit". This keeps you from deviating too much and should reduce panic.

One thing that makes you panic is the thing on your mind that you are risking your money and you dont want to lose it thats why everytime you trade you panic. You may lessen the panic when you try to learn more about trading about basic knowledge and  try to learn thing day by day in that case for sure you would know what you are doing that might lessen your panic.

Trading is not hard to understand and you need to find some exchange website that you can trust or in short your second bitcoin wallets home, For im holding my bitcoin which i get from my weekly campaign so that i can have a capital to start trading , And i choose yobit as my trading where i can stock those alternative coins.

You are right , we  made the same thing  that i used  my signature campaign earnings on trading. I do  use my earnings on yobit since i joined to their campaign and i directly purchase coins from there and make some good profits but be sure  that we must choose the right coins in able to have a profitable trade hence, there are lots  of dead coins  on yobit site.

I have the opinion that traders who have the opinion that trafficking can be read through the graph it is wrong because information about such investments are much more accurate and that the method of reading the charts it only traders who seeking a luck.

There are various exchanges where you can do instant transactions for bitcoin and other altcoins. You need to find the right one for you (that has the coins you want to trade and the platform that suits you) and transfer bitcoin to that exchange.

And after transferring the funds to your desired exchange, start buying the coins you are willing to trade, and before doing that, try to see if their price right now is low or high, for knowing that you will have to see its prices from last 24 hours, if it is the lowest price from last 24 hours then it is good to be bought.

What kind of trading you are talking about even in bitcoin you can do day trading on bitcoin exchanges with bitcoin or you can also do altcoins trading which involves buying and selling other crypto-currencies as well.I am doing day trading right now because i found it much easier and not more risky,so i would suggest that one.

You have a point though, you could learn trading   while  you are doing it  but  its much better  to  study first all the  important things to  be  consider when you intend to do trading hence its not an easy  job after all  because  you are predicting  moving  prices and you would   really need  some  knowledge  to  be  profitable.

Trading is simple when we know how to do it, we just waiting price down and then selling when the price rising again.

Poloniex and Bittrex are my favorite two exchanges. Don't just jump into it and don't take advice from the public chat boxes. Do your own research on the different alt-currencies available and if something sounds promising or seems the price could rise in the future go for it. It gets a bit more in depth with that if you'd like to start margin trading but there are a plethora of articles about this sort of thing on the net. Good luck OP

Whatever you do, make sure you use escrow.  Don't get burned.

I currently use Yobit and Poloniex.

Make a small deposit of ten or twenty dollars and start trading some alt-coins.
Do some research as well, but trading is the type of thing you need to practice.
Even in the last few weeks I've gotten much better at spotting trends in coins.

You also need to be familiar with the interface of each site. Learn about stop orders, how to read the graphs, etc.
Each website might not be exactly the same. Find a site whose layout and functions you prefer and do some trading there.

Their are lot of exchanges where you can do altcoin and bitcoin trading , i am using yobit, bittrex and polonix for bitcoin trading but for altcoin i use most of all exchanges as new coin are launching on which exchange cannot say. according to the altcoin i use the exchanges and immediately after doing trading i just withdraw my bitcoins as some exchanges are not safe to keep bitcoins in their wallet.

once you have registered on an exchange and confirmed your deposit, there are some simple steps that can get confusing.

firstly, trades are broken into "pairs".  since i mostly use yobit i will use them as an example.  now, on that exchange all other coins are traded against BTC or bitcoin.  you can trade doge for bitcoin and bitcoin for litecoin, but not doge for litecoin.  there are some exchanges that add in other basic pairs, but this is a simple start.

lets say that your deposit was 1 BTC.  lets say that you are going to use the entire balance in your first trade.  i use yobit a lot for the simple reason of the left hand sidebar.  there is a list of the alr coins and an awesome number, they show the percentage change in the value of those coins versus bitcoin.  that is your first concept.  every alt coin is going to be expressed as the price versus bitcoin.  an easy example would be a coin that does not exist, call it X coin.  the price at this second can be 0.1.  that means that a bitcoin can buy 10 X coins.  the value of X coin is 0.1 or one tenth of BTC.

so, watch the side bar.  red values are lower than the last check and green are higher.  a green change means the coin is gaining value and red the opposite.  this is where people differ.  there are really reasons to buy a coin going in either direction.  most people that are trading based on that moments info are going to try to catch a coin going up.  they buy the coin at 0.1 and a few minutes/hours later it is worth 0.3 and they sell, making money.  others like coins going down because they are becoming cheap.  they intend to load up while cheap and hope for a rise.  so, X coin is 0.1 and the change is green, going up.  lets attack now and hope for the best. 

you then click on X coin over on the left and go to the trading screen.  there are two halves, buy and sell.  there are really 3 important numbers.  there is the "last" price...that is literally the last price paid for the coin, whether it was buy or sell, it was the last traded price.  the buy price is the highest amount currently offered for the coin and the sell price is the lowest.  a coin that is being actively traded will show a list of offers below each, you are buying so you want to look at the "sell" orders, those are people that are offering a number of coins at a price. 

the easy way to trade is to simply grab the lowest sell order, that is the top one.  the forms can be tricky, i will let you play with that as i have confused you enough.  so, X coin has a sell offer at 0.1 for 1000 coins. you can click the order, adjust the number to 9, you can;t afford 10, there are fees and click buy.  that should fill immediately.  on the other side, the buy side, the prices are a little different.  the offers are lower, but our coin is increasing in value so fast forward and you see a buy offer at 0.2, same deal, click and click and click and now you have 1.7 to 1.8 BTC, call it a day and live happy.

that is a lot of info.  play with that without actually spending money and you will be back shortly with more questions.

This is  the most precise of basic steps  to start trading  which is  very helpful but   before  you  jump into trading  you must be  knowledgeable enough  and  do have already  an idea    on it  because  trading  would be  useless  if you dont  know what you are  doing and for sure you would  lose up  money.

If you do not have experience in trading, try to be vigilant as it is bit risky. Get guidance from your friend or any experienced who are already in trading. Join them and learn trading before you start your own. At times we tend to start before having knowledge on it which will lead to lose. Experience would be your strength. 

Not only buying altcoin and selling them on bitcoin when it large price all you need is to understand how it works and when to buy and when to sell it is important that you know what coins your going to buy because you can make money too in short of trading term not just you want to buy you are going to buy that.

i think this is what we do if we want to make high profit, but for the simple learning, i think you can select in any altcoin in market exchange, buy it when the low price is reach and wait until the high price you want for selling that coins.

how we know the low price? we can watch the movement for selected coins for a while, maybe for one until three hours before we decide to buy and if we are sure that coin is really in down price, we can buy for small amount first to test, and see the market movement, is it really down or is it go up.

If want to deal with very less amount means Its quite okay that you read the price chart for 3 hours but when deals with huge fund means You need to prepare before a week and need to analyse the price chart and need to find the good trader to have a trade.

Yes you need to analyze the trends first because in it you will have an idea of where the price is going. Through it you can speculate and then will know what price you should buy and sell the coin. You can also check the order book and see the prices set by traders and observe how much the spread is between buy and sell price. Altcoins price is really unpredictale and are fluctuating so timing is important because your target price may be hit in just minutes or may take days or weeks so for me, I only put a price that can possibly be hit within the day because if I set a price that's too far from the current price then it might not reach that price. It's better to have small consistent gains than to have it one time big time because you maybe lucky if it reach that price or it may not hit at all and you will end up at a loss.

Most of alts are turning into scammed when they get the high income of there ico there are just making money from investors. It's more easy when we are going to trade our bitcoin in exchange website that the ico is now a officialy distributed so that you will need to wait for dump and for it to pump up.

Why to trade newer alts without any research when you don't know much about it???

The reason why people invest in newly released altcoins is because that's where you stand to make the biggest profits. The risks are certainly higher than with more established coins and you definitely need to do your research but a lot of times the price increase more than make up for your time and risk and that's the lure.
I used to heavily trade altcoins a couple of years ago and made some decent money that way. But I also lost a lot by investing in coins that later on turned out to be scams. Even with proper research and analysis, new coins remain a gamble. I stopped trading altcoins actively after I made a huge loss on a scam coin.

Yup you are right Buddy. We need all the skills to have best trade with the best people. Simply in bitcoin we have lots of risk in finding the non scammer people to have trade. Because bitcoin always risky factor in this scamming parameter.

At first I was so excited to try trading cryptos. I thought it is easy but I realized it's not. I think trading crypto is more difficult than stock markets. So the best way is make sure you study the coins you are trading and its trends. I think charting don't have much effects in altcoins so I stopped trying hard to make some. Also participating on good coins ICO might be good due some bonuses. Make sure to set a support system so you won't end up losing.

Many tips here on Bitcointalk is false, or are just speculation. Often trolls post some stupids, or groups of users who do pump & dump campaigns.
Sometimes the scammers claim that for a monthly fee they will send you tips, but really they have no idea about trading.

There are several exchanges that let you do quick trades for small fees. I use poloniex, but there are others. You just need to open an account with the exchange you chose and transfer some bitcoins or altcoins to the site to get started.

You have to do your own research (Google is your friend!). I'd recommend using btc-e, if their services seem to suit your needs. It is pretty reliable, and I and some of my friends you trade BTC have used it. But, if you are looking for something else, use google or search this forum.

Never used btc-e myself, so i could recommend yobit.net to him, i'm saying this not because i'm wearing their signature but because i have used their website for a lot of times and they have been good and friendly always, never had any problems and their user interface is good too.

You can simply go on forex, and invest :) or magnr.com, you can trade cryptocurrencies there, with leverage which is simply great.
But if you are suffering for a lack of funds now: you can just start a demo, and see if you like this type of activity.

It is true that trading alt coins against bitcoin is much more profitable than trading bitcoins against fiat because alt coin prices grows in less time than bitcoin and as you said if someone trades alt coins after some good research on them he can probably earn some good profits with the time according to their initial capital.

You are trading with only stable and established altcoins which is always a good practice as you will be secure from sudden dumps which are most common with rest of altcoins.

Yes it certainly is. But trading is not something you just do. You really have to study, take lessons. Learn how to analyse and above all, how to manage your risk. Otherwise you end up losing more then you earn.

Yes you can make a good profit there than faucets as you experience faucet's give you 1000 satoshi or less per hour but in trading sites you can get more than what you get from faucets buy and sell learn about this and you will know or if you're not busy i can teach you how to do so.

I agree on the long term investment. The thing with Bitcoin is that you might lose money in a short term but it is very unlikely that you will lose in the long run. Even people who were buying at $1,200 in January 2014 will not lose their money if they hold their coins two years more (from now), but if they bouht at over $1k and then sold at $500 four months later then of course they lose.

Doing trading is an art. But to start successful trading it needs proper home work and knowledge about market.
