Title: Small error in quotes
Post by: apoorvlathey on April 21, 2016, 11:09:33 AM
Though the new forum software is about to release and has reached the beta stage but i would still like to point out an error in quotes made today.

Just the word "on" needs to be removed.

This is actually correct, though it doesn't make sense with the way that SMF deals with dates. If you look at older quotes, such as this one:
A quote
It makes grammatical sense with the date. It only doesn't make sense with your example as SMF turns the current date into the string 'Today'.

It could probably be fixed in about 1 or 2 lines of code, but with the new forum software looming it would be a waste of time for something so small.

Someone make a userscript with the capability to all these grammar errors alreadyyyyy! All your have to do is replace the "on" with ", "

Epochtalk is coming, no need for any fixes now.
