Prince was a no-talent, egotistical jackoff just like Michael Jackson and just about everyone else in the business.  One less vote for Hilary is never a bad thing.   

 Prince had plenty of talent.  He wrote hit songs for other famous musicians as well.
Generally genius types tend to have mental issues and I guess in Prince's case it manifested itself as egoism.  Anyway, you don't have to like the musician to enjoy his music.

No he was not into drugs. He didn't even like swearing as he said on a talk show a few years back. Let alone doing anything bad like drugs.
He was heavily into different religious beliefs.

Sad day for pop culture.  I remember waking up and listening to his music all of the time.  He definitely was one of those people you will never forget and he had a style of disown.  I am sorry to hear about this also and RIP.  Prayers with his family.

I once was prescribed Percocet for pain after a surgery, but ended up only taking two pills, discarding the rest. I was so out of it, it kinda scared me. Not really, but could easily see then and there how people could get hooked on that shit. Since, I've taken Vicodin a few times for pain, with ONCE taking a pill for the pleasure of it. That's basically the extent of my drug history, with the exception of smoking a little weed when younger, but never purchased it. I've been drunk a few times, but quit that because I didn't like the upset stomach in the morning. Not really a hangover, but...

Have hip surgery that is a painful thing to live with after. I don't believe he intentionally over took these pain reduction pills.
