Title: [IDEA]: How about - we write to charity and nonprofit fundations to accept BTC? Post by: Maciek on February 17, 2013, 11:19:22 PM Do you think it's good idea to convince WWF, PETA etc. to accept Bitcoins?
I do. I will keep sending emails to polish and international organisations with a question if they accept Bitcoin dontations. If you can provide a list of the world biggest nonprofit organisations and/or their emails - that would be helpful. Like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Charity_fundraisers And of course - if you send an email too it would be perfect for them - and for us I guess. :) Title: Re: [IDEA]: How about - we write to charity and nonprofit fundations to accept BTC? Depending on their local and non-profit status, BitPay will convert the donated bitcoins into their local currency at zero cost, deposited directly into their bank account.
