to be fair ETH had its moments, it was a great pump when it lasted and to tell the truth when it came out i was excited about the project and my initial investment when i bought it first at the exchanger paid off big time.

but i don't think it is going to be any more interesting than this, the hype and lies and spams brought ethereum this high and all those things can only last so long...

What really irks me is the fact that Vitalik already sold 25% of his Ether. Bill Gates would have never done that. Vitalik should have been focused on making the price $100 or $1000 to solidify his place in history. Instead, he sold out early for a new Ferrari.  :-\

This can tell you everything about this project and how everything is very serious!
Maybe we need more confirmations how ICO pre sales are dangerous?
Now we waiting to see what will become from LISK, till then we can fud in LTC topics, and topics of other legal and healthy communities.

Given the competition in the altcoin market, that's exactly what I would do. Hell, I'd be happy with a new bicycle.

I'm sure Vitalik wanted to dump all of them at these prices, but he had to settle with 25% in an attempt to avoid lawyers, hitmen, etc.

A short covering deadcat bounce might ensue since so many people have likely bet short. But ultimately it ends up far lower.

It is not possible to dump all his coins at these prices. I don't see the market being that deep.
Anything more and the market would have crashed.

It's crazy to see people spreading FUD on Ethereum at this stage. Some Bitcoiners just don't want to accept the fact that Ether can do everything Bitcoin does better.

First we had a hype bubble, now we have a hype bubble of doubt.

In the end - Ethereum is still doing great for what it currently is.

Some cashing out has been done as even admitted by the dev team before it happened.

New investments have been made as past ones paid off.

Or...

The one thing Ethereum was designed to do...neither of them can do. xD

well the band has arrived

let's do the Math
roughly $20 M created enough hype to generate a +$1000 M bubble

"Some cashing out has been done as even admitted by the dev team before it happened."

Yeah they are taking profits at the top
and yet can NOT find a means to fund a forum

the operation looks more like XPY
the fanboy club will likely evaporate just quickly as the price supports pop

testing market cap lows below that of LTC and XRP is more than likely

If it drops below the mkt cap of litecoin then it is dead.

That would indicate that people no longer see the innovation of ETH, or see it as a failed experiment/scam, so I would expect that is would be dead or dying by the time LTC passes it.

I voted for $9. I think ETH has potential, but the first hype was clearly a bubble. Nevertheless I think there are strong hands invested there, so it should not go that much lower.

People should know that ETH has other use cases (mainly in the finance-tech/business world) than a payment-centred currency like Bitcoin. So it (probably) never will replace Bitcoin completely.

the real value of Ethereum in my opinion is what it was before the big pump which is less than $1, so after the pump ends completely over the following weeks or month i would expect it to settle around that price again, maybe a little higher this time. and after another accumulation there will be another mini pump.

We already waiting for another one pump -LISK by then price will have its lowest low. But keep on dreaming, this is good for the rest of traders, who only need profit and they looking for more opportunities after last one.

Eth does have value but at its current price it is overvalued. I can see eth in the $1 range longterm.

For the medium term, I think the value of the Ethereum is around $10. For the long term, it is not predicatable.

LTC might not be such a bad investement right now  ;)

If i was ETH bagholder (thankfully i'm not) i'd hedge with LTC against my potentially devastating losses with ETH.

Last time, before the big rise, the Ethereum dropped a lot, and the volume was also very large. That is one way to get more coins.

I truly don't know what people expecting from this project? We already had good pump, maybe this could happen again
but for this you need some good news for creating hype..Wheel now slows..

The Slock DAO is the first of many projects which will use the Ethereum. There will be more similar projects.
