Just to clarify, you were able to avoid being scammed or is the dispute still open? Has hamsterfly gone silent or is pretending that a Western Union payment was sent already? You should try to avoid Western Union, but it's most convenient in some parts of the world I guess.

I think he meant that hamsterfly faked a pm from ognasty. This happens occassionally that scammers try to do that. So never send to a quoted address, only to an address the escrow sent directly. (Check that the escrows name is the real one too.)

Your thread isnt really clear to be honest as you havent addressed out the exact issue here.

If so, then im guessing you received the fake url only after you sent the payments to OgNasty yourself before being asked and since then you've not received any payment from buyer?

That is the transaction and I am sitting on the BTC.  I've asked for a signed message from the sending address stating where to refund the BTC.

I guess he just trying to scam you and not sure if ognasty does provide escrow service when transaction related to Fiat.Your best option is always avoid newbies when you want to do big deal.

For the funds as ognasty asked you to provide sign message, give him a sign message and take refund. If you don't know how to sign message https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1526413-how-do-i-sign-a-message-with-a-bitcoin-address-

A search here of 1PJVEgRPmZHJsaT2r1ArzjJseVgW7Tqgzt revels this thread and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360660.msg14251474#msg14251474 http://archive.is/TsJ1U

HOWEVER

When I click on the middle quote link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360660.msg14108437#msg14108437 http://archive.is/MBjO2 the wallet has been changed...

I'm trawling back through those posts to see why it was changed as the first reply has the original wallet address ie  1DEDnBdU8FCjkacRf6Ttc2CQAS7FNFrfwS while allixzer0 's https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=354847 quote has a modified wallet address of 1PJVEgRPmZHJsaT2r1ArzjJseVgW7Tqgzt.

Correction: allixzer0 impersonates yassin54

...that and you've traded with s1lverbox and vouched in two of their threads

Vouch thread one: (Self moderated thread)

(through a mixer by the looks of it)

Why on Earth would you send hamsterfly activity six over $7,100 ( 15.63825 BTC ) - via Escrow - when you hadn't even talked to them in public?
