Title: Litecoin - set to rise with BTC?
Post by: jacobmayes94 on April 26, 2016, 02:06:57 AM
Seems like LTC is rising with BTC, I don't know if anyone else agrees?

I hold about 65 LTC.

These LTC dead topics get old, it has remained above many other shitcoins...

Litecoin has been one of the most stable coins over the past year or so. Probably even more stable than Bitcoin. Yes the forum is down, yes tons of trolls spread FUD, and yet Litecoin stands. That should tell you something. Litecoin isnt going anywhere but up!

ARISE!

I wouldnt say litecoin would rise with btc, but i also wouldnt say it would die like other coins though. When there is a number 1, there needs to be 2, number 1 and number 2 has no need to be tied in value.

People are saying ltc is dead simply because the value has not risen in comparison to btc. For goodness sake they are separate entities, not symbiotic.

Yes Litecoin rises with btc the majority of the time.  Interesting that all alts are down but LTC stays strong.  It is a coin that is actually used.

if the past is any indication i say the answer is yes, it has always moved with bitcoin up or down. but also sometimes move separately also like the last ltc halving pump

The infrastructure around ltc it is not nearly as developed as that around bitcoin, with few exchangers and processors and far fewer sites devoted to analyzing its activity and market fluctuations.
Litecoin is like bitcoin younger brother, if bitcoin rise litecoin will follow. I also believe if bitcoin go down ltc will go down also. There is no tension between btc and ltc like with some other coins, how silver follow gold in history and now its the same with btc and ltc. I believe it will be like that in future also.

I've 2 KNC Titans at 730mh at 14c kwh and 3000 watts I get now the below on LTC (the ratio of LTC has gone from like 0.00740 or some such to 0.00825 now)

using this free LTC calculator on Litecoinpool (neato ..put the $$$ back up to 40 per LTC and cry, cry, cry..just to see) :)

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc (https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc)

                                         Profitability Analysis

                 Rewards                         Elec Costs            Profit

24 hours      7.93596973 LTC    30.43 USD       10.08 USD        20.35 USD
7 days       55.55178809 LTC   213.04 USD      70.56 USD       142.48 USD
30 days    238.07909180 LTC   913.03 USD     302.40 USD      610.63 USD

Not bad for equipment I got 17 months ago...go baby go....moon indeed :)

IF BTC hits what some have 'called for" in 2016 of $650 usd per btc. And IF LTC follows a ratio of 0.008 LTC to BTC...THAT is $5.20 per LTC.

I can live with that :)

I think you're just trying to pump the price of litecoin but yes I believe litecoin is on eof the most stable coin in the industry and will always be on the top 5 but I doubt if the price of it will go near the current or future price of bitcoin it is very unlikely

LTC proved to be a strong currency in many ways. It will increase even without BTC pump.

as long as i remember litecoin has been changing a lot with bitcoin. meaning it rises up when bitcoin goes up and vice versa.
so i kinda was expecting the current rise ahead of time. and i expect it will continue if bitcoin continues going up.

again a pump group game.... good luck by burning later guys!

NOOB LTC IS LEGIT $50 SOON MOON

haha, one can always dream.

so far, i have always seen litecoin has the same rise and fall like bitcoin. it is sometimes as if litcoin is following bitcoin around.

this is one of the reasons why a lot of people call bitcoin Gold and litecoin, Silver. because they are so much alike and the price is changing the same way with these pairs as with gold/silver.

so i am not surprised that litecoin is going up with bitcoin price.

That's quite a good run you had. I think if LTC brings out the road map they have been discussing those titans will bring you a big chunk of value this year. Seems scrypt asics of any decent power are rare as hens teeth right now without major risk and waiting ages.

Litecoin is following bitcoin pump so litecoin is a good coin to invest at current price ahead of upcoming bitcoin halving and price pump.as we have seen in 2013 when bitcoin halving happened litecoin also followed then pump and same thing will happen again this year.

I think Litecoin is and will always follow it's big brother around, if bitcoin does reach the levels everyone expects then Litecoin will follow although at a lower price.

Myself I got rid of what I had back when it was around $15 and we should see it hitting that again at some point surely?
