I'm just waiting to get up to the post limit so I can sign myself up for the free giveaway. Normally I don't even go into the newbie section on forums, but this forum is special, and the newbie forum is actually really good :P :> So much to learn. I've been around reading posts for maybe 1-2 weeks but just never was gonna contribute since I don't really know all that much, but I do know its not my place to be posting things. This newbie section solves that.

Ripples kind of confuse me. I don't get why 50k ripples is worth 1 bitcoin or something.... what is that 0.00002 ? Just because of the maximum amount possible circulation of each currency? Gonna keep reading to see if i find my own answer out.

All this bitcoin stuff has been turning me on to alternate currencies like novacoin and litecoin, now ripples. But I really like mining because the concept of generating something out of thin air is awesome so i might not get into ripples as much, but the ripple giveaway could help me get started.
