My husband has been talking about bitcoins for a while.  I think he has one or two. 

Are there any other ladies out there who have made there way to this lovely forum after hearing 9230483984 threads read aloud??  ::)

I did a search on this forum, but I didn't really find any other threads like this.  It would awesome to find some other friends who know all about bitcoins too. 

I think I will open a wallet, too.  Kind of funny that I still don't have one, I guess.

I just don't feel the need to have to put one's gender on display. I'm sure there are ladies out there but like men they feel no need to post threads advertising this fact. Because honestly, what's the point?

@ BitcoinWife - last time I saw a poll, there was something along the lines of 0.5% women vs 99.5% men here.

I just have to add, I highly doubt you are a female. You're too distinguishing, honestly. "Aw", everything about you screams "look, I'm pretending". This thread gave me a laugh. I'd see you at you're late teens to early twenties and being male.

No, I know the ratio is way, way more male than female.  My husband and his friend joke that that's how they'll know when Bitcoins have really taken off--when the bitcoin wives use bitcoins themselves.  

My husband keeps talking about Ripples, so I decided to try to get some myself.  It seems like the only way to do that is with bitcoins.  Fun challenge!  So, here I am, seeing how much has gone in one ear and out the other and how much has stuck.

We were just talking about alpaca socks this morning, because we were talking [again] about how much bitcoins have gone up lately, and how things have changed for bitcoins since the last time it was up this high.  My husband said back then the only product you could really buy was alpaca socks.  I told him I would love some alpaca socks!  A few years ago I used to knit a lot, and I loved making socks and hats...I did use alpaca yarn for hats sometimes because it so so warm and so soft...never thought to use it in socks, though.  I'll have to check out that website.  That's fun that you guys have actually ordered them.   :)

Alpaca socks are horrible. They spew little alpaca balls everwhere when you take them off. If you value your floor to be alpaca free dont't get alpaca socks.

They do pill up a bit, but I still love em. The best/weird part is that your feet won't stink for days. Gross, I know, but helpful on long trips.

if you put your feet in the potatoes you will get more. use the roast some if you want to but i dont blame you if you dont want to waste meat. I want your feet like smashing the potatoes (i hope they're mashed) and the mash like squeezing through your toes do you understand. Also gravy would be nice to be poured on the mash being forced through the toe spaces

When you actually make a roast it takes several hours.  I only posted about this an hour ago, so it'll be trapped in the Crockpot for a while still, until BitcoinHusband comes home from work.

Nah, we use something called a Römer Topf here for roasts.

It gets put in the oven and you occassionally - like once an hour - open it up to pour in more wine/broth.
