Did he not proved the last days that he is ? Title: Re: Is Craig Wright The Golden One? Post by: European Central Bank on May 07, 2016, 07:50:53 PM I seriously doubt it. I do dig the picture. Maybe if you sell it to him for bitcoins he might pay you from the genesis block by mistake.
Title: Re: Is Craig Wright The Golden One? Post by: avatar_kiyoshi on May 08, 2016, 05:01:53 AM Not he's not satoshi, like people here told, he's manipulate the sign message.

You are exaggerating a bit my friend. Most of us has not been privileged to see for ourselves, what proof CW gave to Gavin and the BBC. We know the message could be manipulated, but Gavin could have spoken to him and extracted more information, which were not revealed. I would not be too quick to judge, if I did not have ALL of the information. Just remember that CW was also an early adopter of Bitcoin and someone with loads of knowledge. {Bitcoin based and other} Let's not throw out the baby with the bath water. ::) Title: Re: Is Craig Wright The Golden One? Post by: Attack.of.the.Clones on May 15, 2016, 06:54:10 AM Gavin & Craig met in person, and Gavin & Satoshi corresponded in private for many months. Who doesn't think a smart guy like Gavin would ask Craig questions that he knew only Satoshi could know, or someone who had 'access' to them at the very least. Craig is either Satoshi, or part of the Satoshi 'entity'. Many here don't like the implications of this, but it is what it is.
edit: e.g. 'what was the 15th word in the email I sent you on X date?' Title: Re: Is Craig Wright The Golden One? It is not that easy. A lot of the emails were forwarded to other people or their mailboxes might have been exploited. You cannot rely on that type of information to validate Satoshi's identity. He just needs to sign a message in the genesis block and be done with it. Nobody can dispute that, if he does that. The question is, does Satoshi still have access to that? Satoshi had no idea that Bitcoin would be this successful, back then it was still experimental and he might have thrown that information away. Did anyone consider that Satoshi might not have access to the PGP keys or the private keys and could be to embarrassed to admit it? < Imagine this headline in the media - The creator of Bitcoin lost the private keys to 1 Mil bitcoins! > |
