Title: Getting started Post by: PinkLlama on May 02, 2016, 08:12:24 PM Hey! I'd love to get started Ethereum/Bitcoin mining just as a hobby. For my own personal knowledge gain and fun in learning. I don't want to make any really big profit out of this so I'm just looking for some hardware/software along with tutorials on getting my first mining rig up. Thanks!

For getting started as a beginner, I created a series of ETH Mining HowTos from what I learned so far: The steps are kinda similar for Bitcoin I guess: you need a wallet for your coins, a mining software (if you want to mine), and then an exchange account to trade/sell with other cryptocoins. For learning about Bitcoin and everything else these forums here are gold. |
