Online bitcoin-enabled marketplace OpenBazaar was the big winner at the 2016 Blockchain Awards, sponsored by Blockchain and presented at the Coin Center Annual Dinner.

OpenBazaar is truly remarkable but it will take time for it to penetrate the market due to it's complexity in comparison to it's centralized alternatives. I think watchmybit.com is going to make much

more waves when it gets enough attention. The concept is easier to understand and the features is endless and it tackles some interesting problems. Accepting micro payments for streamed content is

not unique, but the distribution of that payment is VERY unique and has endless potential. OpenBazaar has the potential to turn into a new Silkroad and that is not good for the Bitcoin reputation. On the

other hand... No Ads streaming content with micro payments are going to be big.  ;)

sure,openbazaar deserve to won that,i know openbazaar as big project of bitcoin,and would be pioneer of free market with bitcoin,its will make us more proud to use and participate on openbazaar.

A feel like this award was a bit premature. Somewhat similar to awarding Obama a Nobel Prize at the beginning of his presidency.
Personally I would wait and see how things work out for Open Bazaar, because I can't see it as major force of the market as of now.

yeah it's too early. openbazaar only started running a month ago and there are still some stuff that badly needed improvements. I wonder what's the competitors.
