Title: BitRigs.com - Find efficient mining hardware fast
Post by: asm on June 10, 2011, 05:11:09 PM
I became frustrated when shopping for a card that wasn't prohibitively expensive or sold out but had decent Mh/s performance.  Thus, I created http://bitrigs.com.  The site allows you to sort ATI cards by performance, power usage, performance per dollar and power usage per dollar.  At the moment it just links to newegg.com but I'm in the process of adding amazon.com.  One of the nice things about the site is I've hooked it into the product databases and it updates about once every 3 hours for the latest prices.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for the site :)

Just an update: I've added a page with handy pool graphs (Gh/s over time) here: http://bitrigs.com/pools.  I believe I covered all the major pools.  If you'd like your pool added, just let me know :)

Another update.

I've switched the charts from flash to JS for wider browser support on http://bitrigs.com/pools.  I've also included an interesting chart at the top showing the distribution of pool hashrates vs. the global network hashrate.  It was neat to see DeepBit approach 50% last week when BTCGuild went down from DDoS attacks.  Hopefully they didn't abuse their power...
