Try disk digger or gt recovery, you can fin voth in playstore. They work if your phone is unrooted bu if your photos were not restored you will need to root it so disk igger or gt recovery can access deeper in your memory. As for rooting, try kingroot, it's the easiest way to root your phone. And it's safe. I have tried this with my samsung note and it works all fine.
