 I think in the next year Ethereum will have some good image in the world of Cryptocurrency and That is why I am saying that 2017 will be the year of Ethereum.
What do you say about that. Share your opinions about that Phenomena.

For what has been so far in 2016, Ethereum is in pole position in the cryptocurrency race.

Eth is broke, their forum is dead and Vitalik is drunk on Vodka. Quite flogging a dead horse

The DAO will make Ether even more relevant..

Not 2017 but ends of 2016 after halving block of bitcoin. Ethereum has big volume. Maybe It were like litecoin after halving block on 2013. Yeah... They are just my opinion.

The Ethereum foundation is funded for years.

Meanwhile just in 2016, new development efforts have raised tens of millions of dollars to fund their efforts. 2015 also had similar amounts being raised.

Any crypto project is risky, but the amount of development funding continuing to pour into the network here is going to prevent it from any sort of major failure condition for years yet. Thats a lot of time to realize potential, and reduces the risk significantly.

Pole position in the altcoin race for sure. I still wouldnt put it anywhere near bitcoin. When someone cashes out of ether they cash into bitcoin. The majority of people would still rather have the mojority of their funds in bitcoin over ether. No shame to ethereum whatsoever though. Its done well.

Yeah your right this year after bitcoin block halving we will see that the volume will increase more and the value will increase too.. just wait in few months  after block halving that would be a year of ethereum..

Yeah I agree.  Eth is hanging in there though.  It rose fast but didn't crash like a lot of shitcoins do, so that tells me there's good support and a liquid market.

There's an army of 1 and 2 star posters shilling this fundamentally broken coin.

This 2016 was the best year of ethereum, from now on we only will observe a continuous decline of this altcoin. Why? Because bitcoin will maintain its reign despite all opposition.

Ether price is in a downtrend channel. Only the current DAOHub ICO, what requires to buy Ether, is responsible for the price increase. Wait until the ICO is over and you will see that the price is declining again.

i don't know what i have to say because nobody can predict the future of altcoins especially for Ethereum even though some people said that Ethereum have some good image in the world of Cryptocurrency in 2017 but why have to wait till 2017 if Ethereum can rise up this year but if you're so sure for the future of this altcoin you can start to buying alot of Ethereum now and hold till 2017

Why would it? The DAO locks in a good chunk of ETH that can only be used on Ethereum. If anything it provides support to the Ethereum blockchain and future dapps. ETH has much more use and utility than BTC which is simply digital gold. A slow confirming one at that.

It could be their year because of the many development coming and strong community support but I still prefer all my coins to be on bitcoin this is actually the year of bitcoin more than etherium..

This could be their banner year a lot of great things have happen on this crypto currency but like all the other posters Bitcoin is still my number one but it pays to have Etherium before the end of this year ..

If the DAOhub team will hold what they have promised then 2017 (probably even 2016) could really be the year of Ethereum.
The ICO is only the first step to reach this.
