Title: Now we know Satoshi is not going to be forced out of hiding
Post by: keystroke on May 05, 2016, 07:50:59 PM
If this CW scam, blocksize debate, etc. and the ensuing media attention won't make Satoshi sign something saying he is not CW, then nothing can do so. He will make a move if and when he decides (if he is still alive). So although this is just a stupid sideshow it does provide us with additional information which can be useful to pricing our favorite asset. Satoshi is not going to raise his head until he is good and ready, and that is likely some time (in terms of price) from now.

Most likely he will never be heard from again. That, or he is going to make some big history changing play when the world stage is right.

I wish he was. He's far classier and I have a mysterious soft spot for people who like trains. I only voted in the last general election because one of the candidates was fond of burning around on miniature trains.

I'm happy to see Satoshi hasn't been smoked out of his cave by attention seeking morons. The great man won't fall for their futile attempts.

I believe it's him.

Truth and lies have different chimes to them.

Twice when the Craig Wright story hit the media, my untruth radar went off immediately, without really knowing anything about the ins and outs of the 'evidence'.

When Satoshi Dorian Nakamoto was unveiled as Bitcoin creator, my truth sirens were blaring. He got caught of guard by that Newsweek reporter and inadvertently spilled the beans on himself, and then perhaps later realising what he had done, came out to media and outright denied any involvement in Bitcoin, or to even knowing what it was. His response to his original statement regarding "I am not involved anymore, and everything has been handed over to other people", was that it was all a big misunderstanding, and that he thought the reporter meant 'other' classified government projects that he had worked on.

satoshi doesn't need to sign anything and say anything because first of all satoshi doesn't want to come out for whatever reason and also this CW scandal was going to become clear sooner or later.
and about the block size debate, i have to say that he is not the centralization of bitcoin so his opinion would just be another opinion as others. we need consensus not someone giving out rules .

We can phase in a change later if we get closer to needing it.

Not active since 2010... Jeez, it must be kind of difficult to go for such a long time without signing onto a board like this and talking with people about the different changes that could hypothetically be made in the future. I wonder what he thinks about us right now...

I agree with Satoshi. If necessary, when blocks are consistently being filled to the brim, then a change can be implemented, but until then, no changes are needed.

Satashi nakamoto won't reveal himself, he'd be assassinated or tortured by government agencies or bankers f they knew who he is.

so he'll be very paranoid not to reveal himself no matter what.

they can't kill bitcoin, even if they find nakamoto, but they can surely make the inventor pay for his invention. and i dont mean in bitcoin or in fiat for that matter.
