Title: Scam accusation - sleeqmode Post by: iulianbutanu on May 07, 2016, 06:17:42 PM Hi,
I want to make a scam accusation for this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=834361 First of all I know I'm a newbie ( actually I'm pretty noob in this domain ) but I found out this scammer. I made this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1464369.0 He came with a message about 1 btc and replied with the price for 1 btc with my fees everything and after this his show begins. First of all I was sceptic because he accepted my offer imediatly and it was pretty big. His message: Quote Hi iulianbutanu, I will take 1 bitcoin payment by western union. What is the total price due and are you ok with using OgNasty for Escrow? he is a forum approved Escrow provider: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 His profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321 His feedback from previous escrow trades: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18321 I replied it's ok and he came with this: !!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!! !!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!! 595$ . Contact the escrow, pay the fees to him. And after that I will be giving you my details to send WU. Just had a pm back from OgNasty and Escrow is arranged. After payment please can you pm him promptly to release the bitcoin to me. OgNasty. Now when I received this message I saw that ognasty wasnt online for an hour and I send a pm to him: did you talk with sleeqmode about a transaction western union with me? 1BTC value. ??? No. I don't deal in anything fiat. You are being scammed. I tried to make a transaction with him even if he was brand new because I know how hard is to find someone to make a transaction if you are new here. Well, this is a scammer. Thanks. Have a nice day Title: Re: Scam accusation - sleeqmode Post by: markj113 on May 07, 2016, 06:30:20 PM Well spotted :D
Just left him some default negative trust to flag him red. p.s. If you did click that link make sure you run a thorough virus scan just to be sure its not infested with any wallet stealing malware.
