But I'm pretty sure that you can: a) Either revert back to the old version, and sign a message the usual way b) Export your private key into another wallet, and signing a message with that online wallet/software. Post by: Cantoner on May 09, 2016, 02:42:39 PM Makes no sense they improve or allow you to get upgraded to a better wallet when the new one doesnt allow to sign a message that nowadays is getting a lot use atleast at this forum the use is getting bigger and a demand to the almost anything you do.

Why releasing new version which is clearly worse that existing one? With less functionality and options?also when you upgrade you can't downgrade again , so yeah exporting your keys is the only solution I guess Is there a one good point which speaks for switching to newer version blockchain's wallet?
