Title: If I were you, which alt coin would you prefer to purchase?
Post by: CoinSiteDesigner on May 11, 2016, 01:00:13 PM
As the title says, what alt coin would you purchase for investment purpose and make profits?  ;D

Please list only those coins where that coin's developer is active at doing things and serious about his projects, not those where they pump and dump. So tired of those kind of coins.

research is the way to go, two guys could have different opinions with the same info on his hands so... also, in the end there is no guaranty that things will go on the way that you was thinking...

btw about the main question and talking about altcoins, ETH, BTS, BURST... seems good enought for long term, but you know... you should believe only on our mother BTC :P

haha, that's true. I believe only on our mother btc :P

But the reason I had to create this thread is to make others and myself easier to discuss about all coins at one place and decide which one to buy.

If I'm just going to the official coin threads, most of the people are talking too much and fooling others and making it pump and pump just cause they own and dumping it when they're satisfied with a certain price.

Well, the same thing could happen here too, but I'm believing there will be some professionals who will warn us newbie's with shitcoins.  ;D

High Risk:

WARP.
Why? - Because, Shape just came back.
There might be an update within a week, which in turn would lead to a good profit.

But the keyword here is "Might be".

Medium Risk:

RADS.
Why? - Because there is continuous development from the devs - JJ & Tim.
The rate as of now is 0.00067BTC which is nothing compared to what it's worth.

MAID.
Why? - Because it's only 11,000 sat at the moment. 'nuff said.

Waves.
Why? - ICO from trusted devs.
May be worth 1$ once launched.

But this is just my opinion, do your research before investing.

Searched for Waves on yobit but couldn't find.

What's the price of waves and from where can I buy it?

As of now, Waves ICO is going on.
So, you can't really trade it on YoBit.

But you may be able to soon. ;)

Does it means nobody else owns the waves yet? If that so, I would wanna get it early and be in profit. lol  ;D

I'm aware that the Bigup's developer is so active, but it didn't convince me to buy it until today. The price is same since many weeks.

Anyway, bought a few thousands bigup now. Let's see how it goes.

What I love about Bigup is the staking rewards I am getting 30k to 50,000 bigup from staking my wallet convert to 3 satoshis each  and you have 150,000 satoshis without doing anything at all..

Put everything you have for Panda or some other animal coin! Cartoon characters are also good!  ;D

But seriously, I would vote for eth.

Nobody owns the actual tokens yet.
You can buy some from here if you want: https://wavesplatform.com/

Also, I guess you'll also get a 5% multiplier as of now.

Besides DAO, which somehow recommends ETH is a revolutionary idea, i think this token is sure one of the best to invest with these days.
Waves have also become popular and no doubt got lots of investors since the day it was out for ICO.

Dash : You can have ~12% annual interest if you make a MasterNode (1000 Dash needed to have a full MN, but you can use share services too if you have less than 1K Dash), more info : http://dashmasternode.org/

For ICO's: Waves (ICO still open) and Lisk (ICO closed).

Never invest in scams like dash. They will collapse in a hurry when they do go down.
12% in crypto is nothing. Coins go up and down 1000% a day.

I have no clue which coins will go up or down. I have 100's of coins and although they all go up and down daily their overall value does not seem to have changed much in months.

I would say look for coins that have good devs that are currently unnoticed

12% is something for long term investor in general. Which bank give you this?

You advise long term strategy investing in alt coins?

We can freely compare banks to alt coins? I mean the interest difference can be discussed only here and no other factors taken into consideration?

Let rather compare with other alts. Some alts offer 50%-100% pos returns?

Advising people to invest in propping up a scam like dash is just not nice.

Your other tips may or may not be a good tip. I have actually invested a small amount in both of those so lets wait and see.

Bought some TRUMP while it's down by 7% and 1 ETH while it's up by 7%? This is my first time buying alt coins as I have yet to fully do an ample amount of research on them? I hope it wouldn't hurt so much if I eventually suffer losses. I'll just charge to experience if and when I made the wrong decision.

I'd purchase 10 interesting alt coins that are not clones of Bitcoin.

Exposure to Bitcoin && 10+ original code coins makes your investment more secure, diverse, freed from confinement into one paradigm.

ETH - Ethereum still has a good potential.
LSK - Lisk is probably a serious outsider even if the dev team is way too small.
WAVE - it will really depend on the dev team. To me they are weak but who knows..

The question of which one will make the most profit isnt the right question.

BTC is already the wealth transfer/storage crypto.

The only way for any project to become anything beyond a pure pump and dump is for that coin to surpass BTC in useability.

Find the coin that you can convince your friends and familky to use as a trade barter system within your own circle and you will have found the next coin to be worth investing in.

In my opinion there are very few coins that i would use myself outside of trading, and these are the coins i am accumulating.

maybe I'll just buy the ETH. perhaps among all the coin, I'll buy the most expensive coin prices after BTC, and maybe it is around eth

lol banks are far safer than anything in crypto, though I'm sure many would disagree with that.  I don't have a good feeling about most of these shitcoins.  Get in and get out quickly,  and follow the trends on the ones with huge volume.

Read pablos book on investing crypto if your doing this as a quick flip, he has a free demo somewhere here in the altcoin section.   You dont have the experience to be throwing money around so half hazardly.
