Title: looking for a 40 bitcoin loan
Post by: zaj on February 25, 2013, 11:06:38 PM
hello,

I'm a 22years old student from Belgium. I will graduate from university this summer (Master in social work). As a way to reward myself i had planned a 3 week long roadtrip to the united states together with my girlfriend and some friends. in normal circumstances i would have had no problems paying for all of it, Since the parents of my girlfriend own a real estate bussines all over the united states we can sleep in some of their houses/appartments. all in all it would have maybe cost +-1,8k usd including plane tickets, travel passport, food, .... i'm doing a weekend job that earns me 40-50 euro/week on average ( some weeks i don't work because i have to work for school)

but as i said  i have ran into a little trouble... 80% of the money i have had saved up from my last summer job got lost in pirates scheme( about 100 bitcoins back then wich was around 650$) after that i tried to recover my losses lending on bitcoin jam with the +-20 bitcoin i had left. wich resulted in..... more scams.  of my 130 bitcoins i now ended up with 9 bitcents.

anyway i've worked my ass off fixing computers every weekend and am now back on  700 usd.  i need another 1100 ( 36-37 btc) to be able to pay for my trip. if i'm able to book early (in max 1 more month) i can get some pretty cheap airplane tickets for about 1000$. if i wait till summer to buy my tickets it can easily be as much as 1500$ and i won't be able to pay for those in time..

so please guys help me to fullfill my dream :) this is something i have been working for since last summer and it would really crush my heart not being able to do this!  Even asking for a loan doesn't feel right :/ since i've always been the smart thinker and i hate "wasting" money on intrest. all of my time here i've been the one investing in people and due to a string of bad luck i'm down to this:/

i will be able to pay this back with my current weekend job and my next summer job no problem. i should be back at the end of august and work the full month of september doing a summer job while looking for a real job.

tldr:

i'm in need of 1100$ worth(36-37bitcoin at current rate) in bitcoin. this is a longterm loan and i will pay back 1300$ between 1 and 30 september (thats a +-20% rate for 6-7months) in bitcoin ( protecting myself and you from a sudden price crash/rise).
I'm willing to take the loan in parts , just be reasonable and anything less than 1 bitcoin will be declined for obvious reasons.

I suggest you ask the parents of your girlfriend to loan you the money.  After all, you are taking their daughter on the trip.

oh , if it wasn't clear. everyone is paying his part for himself , i'm not paying for my girlfriend or anything. we've already got the housing sponsored and i'm not such a leech. i have my pride and it's something i rather not do. but it is something i have considered as a last option if all else fails. i've considered alot of non bitcoin related options but there aren't any reasonable ones that fit my way of living. i'm not such a joke to go beg money or deal pot on the streets :') i like to earn things in life myself. especially lending money is something i wouldn't ever do to people i know irl... over here people associate it with being lazy, under educated, addiction, dumb people. Something i really am not. if i wasn't  a student i would have had a loan at the bank but the sad truth is that it is impossible for me to get :)

either way, going to sleep now ;) will be back tommorow.

Let's put it this way.

A bank, who is able to affect your credit rating and put can pressure on you to pay, is not willing to take the risk of lending you money.
Your friends, who know you better than anyone else and can put pressure on you to pay, are not willing to take the risk of lending you money.

Why should people here, who can't affect your credit rating and can't put pressure on you to pay, take that risk?

Get your girlfriend's parents to lend you the money.  After all, their daughter is accompanying you on the trip.

whatever dude. its people like you that have nothing better to do than troll this forum that ruin it for legit lenders.  3% monthly is nowhere near what you could get in the real world.only thing that is left here are people filled with  greed that are to stupid to fall into obvious scams with insane returns. i'm giving up this is not worth my time.  stupid american mentality.  i don't know what third world country lifestyle you have , but begging for money at your parents in law is the last thing you do here.

I'm not stopping anyone from lending you money dude.  It's just we all see what this is - an attempt to get us to pay for your vacation.

Take care.

Best line yet, your asking us for a loan yet you think you have credibility when you have offered nothing really. Plus you have a btcjam account and you didn't even attempted to verify more stuff on there, and open the loan there. This is very shady.

Following me here?  Okay.

You want money that you're going to spend on personal matters.

You promise to pay it back with interest.

Okay.  We're up to speed?  Good.

1.  If you can't afford to pay for your personal matters now, how do you plan to get that, AND the cash to pay back your loaner?
2.  You have no intention to spend this money on something that will generate more money.  Think about it from the loaner's perspective.

I mean, the least you could do is lie to me.  Tell me you plan to use the money to make a butt load more money.  Then I could at least call you a scammer.  But this is just silly.

so what? if i had lied and said i needed it to invest into my milion dollar company would you have lended it me then ? what matters is that you pay it back. and i think i have a decent enough track record here to proof that i do so.  the total amount of debt that people owe me here is over triple the amount i need... people lend money to junkies and gambling addicts but not to a honest working person? it isn't you guys paying for my vacation. its all the money that i already spent on the hotel bookings that is going to waste because i wont be able to afford a plane ticket during high season. thats why i need it NOW. if it wasn't for all those scammers here i'd be going there with double the budget i have now -_- and like i'm gonna scam people for 40 bitcoins. i'm in that sec investigation with pirate im not gonna myself into more trouble with all my personal details with that sec dude.

i refuse to use that shitty site anymore after the admins do absolutely nothing against the scams over there. every bitcent they get from me is too much. as i said i'm a man of principles. and the fact that i don't have lots of verification over there is just that i don't need any to LEND to people. they have a copy of my pasport, my fb account,  my phone number and thats it. i tried to get verified with a phone bill for my adress but they refused it for some reason. that was over half a year ago and never had the intent to take loans there.

Should have planed ahead...... Face it, you're too lazy to even come up with a good scam. All we have is your word and that doesn't go far these days, we have had a lot of scammers "words" to repay that didn't even come close. Maybe you need to start collecting what is owed to you.

you skipped the part where i said i do a weekend job ? thats 20x50 = 1000 euro i will have available before i'm sitting on my plane. the problem is my plane ticket now costs 700ish euro if i buy it now. if i buy it during the summer  it will be more like 1000-1200. you see the problem? and the potential waste that goes with it. i even added august and september into the equation because thats a month where i will earn close to 3K doing a full time summer job. (  you don't get taxed doing a summer job here). but its obvious i can't do that NOW.

If you are really desperate, you'll eventually hit up a family member or close friend for a loan.

I'm glad to see this conversation was worth your time after all.   ;)

Uhmmm this is clearly a lie, from one of the people that called the S.E.C they never planned in investigating, or talking to people about it. ;) try harder next time.

Also all your loans that people ow you are overdue, so how you going to pay us, for something that people aren't paying you back ? Try to pick better loans next time.
https://i.imgur.com/tRjZE1a.jpg yeah man obvious lie. here is your email.  to be honest, now i'm just trying to prove myself. i hate being falsly accused. thats worth more my time than my loan.

First off dealing with the S.E.C and not being from this country should have a lawyer just some advice. I am 23 and I have a business lawyer on hand that I can call whenever I need to so it doesn't cost me that much. So it isn't a waste of money, it is a good investment or your next trip maybe jail and that my friend is free ;) LOL

Also this is a clear red-flag and scam.

C'est la vie :P  So you won't go on your trip if you don't get the cash.  It's not the end of the world.

Um, poor judgement rather than a string of bad luck & rather than learning from this you are trying to compound it at other's expense, though no one will be quite so foolish as to entertain you in this.

Now you provide the user name and the transaction IDs of you receiving the 40btc and sending the loan back.

Otherwise we are just going to assume you got money from your family.  Hope you enjoyed your vacation as least!
