There are threads about how to motivate women using bitcoin, and motivating arab women using bitcoin (wtf).   Well, how to motivate Adolf "Trump"H. II to use Bitcoin?   Do you believe Trump is actually able to use a Bitcoin wallet himself, intellectually that is?

he already has. but he wont admit it. because it would start a price rally. meaning he would be shooting himself in the foot by telling the world to buy it.

he would only admit it when he is ready to sell. that way he creates the price rally for him to profit on. but that will only happen once he is happy with the amount of coins he has bought. so while he is still buying, he will remain silent. like any other smart investor

With the times we are in now with the elections this year it can start a price rally if he said he supports bitcoins and is using it now. How much he has would not be known, so we can not know if he is a whale or not to influence the price that much but news of him using it can make a medium type shift. But it being an increase or decrease in the price can't be known.

I dont think he will endorse bitcoin anymore given the fact that 70-80% of bitcoin mining is controlled by China

There's a chance he might be already using it and building up his hoard and wait for the price to rise as any normal investor would do. Or mabye he isn't using bitcoin and he loathes it. Or he just simply doesn't care about it.

Tell Trump that China is leading bitcoin mining. He will then want to beat China in this, so he will incentivise and subsidize  U.S. bitcoin mining companies and decrease their taxes. And tax any bitcoins mined in China coming into the U.S.  :D

He will bring Bitcoin mining back to America.

Best way to get them to Trump to use it would be to show him that it is being used.  I know a few large companies that are interested in Bitcoin, but don't know if anyone would even us it after jumping through all the required hoops.

Nice thinking. Do you believe other billionaires also have some stash hidden and waiting very big price rise? I also think that something like that can make price rally,  in this world when people hear how some rich people use something they follow blindly.

I don`t think Trump is the person we can motivate, he is the person that wish to motivate others to follow him. So I think its better to discuss how to motivate ordinary people to use btc, that will make our community grow and unite against predators like Trump is.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not sure if you're referencing the centipede memes that are occasionally used to refer to his supports with that last sentence.

Trump more than likely has his opinions on Bitcoin already, but the thing is chances are he isn't looking for our votes (yet) and thus he hasn't really mentioned it because it isn't a large part of his campaign or his policies.

I'm not ever sure how you view Trump as a predator, he doesn't incite violence and his supporters are on the receiving end of the violence of other political groups. I don't want to turn this into a political discussion, but I'm kind of confused.

I don't understand the rationale behind those motivate-X-to-use-Bitcoin-threads. People don't need to be motivated to use Bitcoin. They will use it if it makes sense to them. Trying to motivate them might have the opposite to the intended consequences: They might be alienated by what to them seems like a nerdy marketing campaign.

So please stop this motivation crap. It does serve no purpose. Explain Bitcoin to those that seem interested, but don't push for it. The nature of all desirable (and valuable) things is that they are not marketed aggressively - the buyers seek them out of their own interest.

Why do people believe Trump is stupid? He became a billionaire through his business activity, so I doubt that he is stupid. In fact I would expect him to be positive about BTC because of his roots as a businessperson, rather than a political creature.

In fact I would be more worried about BTC if Hillary wins.

If trump have interests in something illegal or he have a hidden agenda he wants it, You can motivate Trump to use bitcoin but if he only wants to earn money i dont think he wants it. Trump have many business that can sustain his needs or sustain his family so he does not need to use bitcoin if he wants only to earn money.

Well if Trump is running for president he must have the intellectual capacity to use a Bitcoin wallet right? I think we must be concerned with what Trump is going to do with Bitcoin if he is elected. And about politics and bitcoin - just don't let Hillary win election, she hates bitcoin and probably will engineer some actions against it.

Trump has never mentioned bitcoin at first, second I don't think he has the intellectual capacity to operate a bitcoin wallet himself, but for that he has a lot of kiss-asses after him which can do the job pretty well.
I saw someone claiming that he is smart as he become a billionaire through his business activity, well if your business is going well doesn't necessarily mean you are smart, I have my boss which is a billionaire too, but unfortunately for him he is stupid enough, doesn't sleep at night, doesn't know what he want from life, so an old saying here is "Why you should have a good brain, when your stupidity is making you millions"

Being a billionaire doesn't mean being smart. If your boss was smart enough, I, you and everyone would not have our positions in our jobs. Sorry for taking it a bit personal, but I truly hate billionaires, their stupidity has no limits to me and I hope Trump never becomes president of America.

There is no need to motivate trump to use bitcoin. If he is interested let him learn and enjoy the innovation, but when these people start using automatically control over bitcoin gets initiated.

Honestly I don't think that Trump has a lot of time to think about bitcoins. There is too much else on his mind these days.

I think Trump doesn't need to be motivated to use Bitcoin because he has already heard about it 100%. He probably has business advisors and analysts working for him so he must have consulted with Bitcoin experts on whether it's profitable to invest a lot of money  in crypto coins or not. As a savvy businessman Trump knows how to make even more money from his current wealth.

The only way to motivate Trump to use Bitcoin is to show him that he can make money on it.  If he can be convinced that he can make a profit, then he'll be all in.

I agree. I have a strong feeling that he is already using it, hell, he might have already bought 10's of thousands of Bitcoins.

There is really no way to tell unless he comes out and admits it, which will never happen.

He already is. But if he tells everyone he's using it and he loses the election, bitcoin will be associated with him/failiure, and noone will liek bitcoin. :D

I am very sure almost everyone from all walks of life and professions already know bitcoin. currently very many people using bitcoin, one of which may even trump. Well, you could say to persuade someone, you just need to show how your way and you are looking bitcoin exchange it for dollars so they believe and are motivated to seek bitcoin

Start a Bitcoin Superpac, and raise money in bitcoin. Donate to his election, and meet with him as a donor. Then place ad's on tv for Trump, and have Btc superpac for Trump running through the ad, and of course a nice sound bite at the end.
Trump might then support BTC, either way the exposure will help. 

To be able to motivate someone you need to know very good this person. Understand what he wants, what he likes or dislike. For Trump it seems to be more easy as he already reveal a lot of his personality, but it can be just iluzion and not true.

Motivating Donald Trump to go and use Bitcoin is not going to happen. That guy is already a Billionaire and does not really need anything else money related.
His only goal now it to become the president of the US.

May be he already bagging few bitcoin to make retirement fund when bitcoin price go really high. And if he elected as president he may help bitcoin to grow and we may see more americans buying like china have bought before. So, you probably think that he would be elected as a president and for that reason it might be important that he supports Bitcoin. I don't think this is going to happen. Besides I don't think that this types of business men like he is will ever support and use Bitcoin.
