I think this one would be possible to happen because of those early miners who dump their pc not knowing that bitcoin will rise up. if this is what happen to you mate  congrats to you.

Go and sign some message from the wallet and we will belive you, if you can not you are just a troll.

But if you really have found this 1k bitcoins congrats save them on different wallets and avoid any online wallet, so hackers have no chance to steal them.

And maybe give some of them to charity ;)

Maybe OP did find 1000 bitcoins. Crazier things have happened but without proof this might be another fish tale.
A screenshot with a transfer of 1000 coins would be easy to fake so idk how you would actually prove this or if you would even want to for legal reasons.

I never event thought of doing this.  I have over 1,000 computers laying in my warehouse.  These computers are from over the past 5 years, buying them from people at flea markets and such.  I think I am going to take some time and wee if I have any gold mine!!

That's it! You never even though of shaking the computer to listen for the rattle of bitcoins in it.

i clicked the thread and read the OP, would have never said a word had i not read the long string of people that apparently have some portion of their life hanging on whether this is true or not.....my life goes on whether he found them or not

i do question how he got into the wallet without the key, but hey, some of my old PC's were filled with things like password proctected files and a CSV in the same directory labeled passwords.csv   i delete anything that leads outside of a PC before dropping it in a closet, but who knows
