It all depends on what the coverage will be like, were it will appear and how people respond, so it could go either way.
A scenario where major investors begin to notice Bitcoin and pay serious attention to it because of Bitcoin breaking the ATH is certainly plausible. It will go parabolic once hedge-funds and banks find out Bitcoin is the future and they can't run the risk of being left behind, however, it's not unlikely we'll have to wait another few years for this to happen. But it will mean no one saying they are loosing money with bitcoin.
