Bip 109 (bitcoin classic fork) forked on testnet apparently. They used version bit 28.

So testnet has 2mb limit? Have miners mined any blocks on testnet more then 1mb?

If so thats a bit annoying for people who want to test standard version.

Well I'm not sure. I think it might have forked and there are two testnet chains. It's probably a good idea to ask about this on irc or the mailing list.

2mb is a hard fork so there are two testnets. Bitcoin Core testnet and Bitcoin Classic testnet.

Use Bitcoin Core testnet and you won't even notice the other fork (except for the silly messages)

Because testnet has slightly different mining rules and a lower difficulty, it's easy for one person with an ASIC or GPU to run it for a few hours and activate the 75% threshold that makes Bitcoin Classic fork. That's exactly what happened.
