I doubt anyone will vote for him if he is a candidate. Unless Satoshi Nakamoto have some political background - or the world is changing to become a technology oriented.

Yes, he was behind the idea, but the development and adoption was done by some other people. I am not diminishing his contribution, he did give the first spark, but the flame was kept and made bigger by others.
