Title: PKIX path building failed Post by: stevenvsi on May 15, 2016, 04:00:02 PM Hi,
This week my MultiBit HD wallet stopped working with this message: "Kraken is not responding" Regards, Title: Re: PKIX path building failed Post by: jim6181 on May 16, 2016, 10:57:49 AM MultiBit HD uses exchange APIs to get the currency conversion.
If one exchange stops working/ responding you get that error. Just go into Preferences | Exchange and choose another exchange that deals in your currency of interest. Title: Re: PKIX path building failed Post by: stevenvsi on May 16, 2016, 01:09:12 PM Hi,

Ok I found the issue, its eset security that decided to scan all ssl certificate and block so many sites. I only had to disable the https scanner. An alternative would be to get eset to accept the certificate. This requires a lot of digging into eset, I wills see if I can afford it. It also affected Electrum, now both clients are working ok.
