how do i put money into bittrex? I find this page super weird. Can i fund in USD or only btc??

You can add funds with USD or BTC.  It is pretty straightforward and not much info is needed to send btc. When you start using USD I believe you have to provide ID.

AFAIK, you can't put your dollar money since there's no option on it !

could you post a screenshot? Can not find how to deposit USD on this darn site....

I was wrong, I am thinking of Kraken.  Looks like Bittrex does not have the USD option, at least when I enter into the support search.  Either way, depositing btc easy at bittrex and I have never had a problem there.

as a matter of fact i can not even find on this site how to deposit btc. could you post a screenshot where this option is (or write where i have to click?). I have the suspicion that since i have an address check pending, that the website looks different for me than for validated users.
But want to make shure not to waste time unnecessary.

Just make sure you are on their official site and run a anti virus scan for phishing links on your pc before putting in any personal information or making a deposit.
If your seeing the same screen as other users of this site more than likely you are on a fake fronted site that will steal your information and your money/usd you are trying to deposit.

for detail you can contact their support agent but for easy deposit you can use bitcoin or altcoins for trading at there.

Go through their faq section and first be sure that they don't accept USD deposit via any of the usual payment methods. You have to have some bitcoin first and than you have to send those bitcoin to deposit address given to you after you open your account. Double check that address before sending your bitcoin. good luck

After you login, click on 'Wallets" - top right side of the screen.

It will give you a list of coins:

etc. each coin has a + and - in front of it.  Click the + to deposit money. Get a deposit address, go to your btc wallet and send money.

Couldn't be easier.

yes bittrex is trusty site because i had been using this site with very long time and if you want to deposit just login to your account and click wallet options but you cannot deposit dollar at there only bitcoin available to deposit and if you want to deposit just click + symbol and click " generate address"

I just sent a payment to bittrex via btc. It allowed me to do it. However it hasn't showed up yet. Hopefully it does show up soon

Because it is still pending. Bitcoin transaction today is very slow to confirmed unlike ETH that almost instant and less fee. For how long did your balance didn't appear since you transfer your fund?

I have a problem with bittrex atm. I was transferring XEM deposit but forgot to fill MSG. 1500 confirmation but still showing as an outgoing transaction.  I've opened a ticket and I provided what they were asking and no reply ever since  (48h). Should I wait longer or what she'll I do next?

Ps. No pending deposit on my wallet.

How do you cash out from trading? or is your money forever stuck in coins that are not cashable lol.

You can transfer your coins in and out, just not money.

They still don't have an option to deposit USD. Crazy.

if deposit use USD youre account must verified level 2 (high level)
and then in bittrex only support USDT , not support bank transfer or another payment

Working with FIAT-currencies like USD/EUR will require them to use a whole new process.
To prevent money laundering and other illegal activities all purchase and sales of cryptocurrenceis to fiat requires verification of the user.

That is why on Kraken etc. you need to provide many documents to be able to trade.
Because bittrex does not have this option you also do not have to identify yourself.
They are legally now allowed to take and USD payments unless they have identified their users.

I guess you can not put fiat money like USD in bittrex, because in bittrex i do not see any deposit feature for USD. :o

Is it possible to generate a new BTC deposit address?

$10k is kind  of extreme at the moment. How does one obtain USDT?

I also same like when i first time know about exchanges but it's easy actually. After you login your accuont on bittrex just go to Wallets, after that find the altcoin that you want deposit. If bitcoin, just click + icon on the bitcoin currency and click new address. The new address will appear and deposit your coins into that address.

I have send XRP to my Bittrex account. Now I would like to buy BTC with it, but all I see is USDT on the Bid line.

Yet I did not purchase USDT and it seems we can't even buy USDT on  Bittrex...

So how can I purchase BTC with my XRP on Bittrex?

What are the different levels of verification?

We support two types of accounts. 

Basic accounts can withdrawal up to 3 BTC worth of digital currency equivalent per day if they have two-factor enabled.
Enhanced accounts can withdrawal up to 100 BTC per day if they have two-factor enabled.

Withdraw Limits

If your password has been changed, you cannot make a withdrawal for 24 hours
If your account does not have 2FA, you are limited to withdrawing up to 1 BTC (or equivalent) per day

Unverified Accounts created before 08/01/17: 0.025 BTC (or equivalent) per day

There appears to be a bad side effect to not being able to deposit USD into Bittrex. Since every coin-to-coin purchase is IRS reportable for capital gains, this means that if you move BTC (or other coin) into Bittrex, then use it to buy another coin, you will have to track the USD equivalent of the BTC that you use to buy it, and use FIFO, LIFO, etc. to track and report the capital gains on the BTC as you dispose of it to obtain the other coin.

I want to use Bittrex, but at this time, I'm only buying coin in USD and hodl'ing. So far, I've bought a bunch but haven't had any reportable transactions since I'm only buying and not selling.

I have done the research to know that many crypto traders are using like/kind transactions, but this is highly speculative and subject to back taxes, interest, and penalties if the IRS eventually decides that not every crypto currency is similar enough to allow for like/kind transactions.

Thoughts?

Easiest way is to through them in to trash.
At least you know where you put them. in case you want to get them back.
