Title: Anyone sold their service on fiverr.com and get paid in BTC?
Post by: biggbox on May 19, 2016, 01:16:20 AM
Hi

Anyone sold their service on fiverr.com?

- How was your experience?
   - Any low ballers?

- Do you get actually paid in BTC?

- Do you have difficulty in receiving or getting payment?

- Is it worth the effort to sell your time and service on fiverr?

I had sold my service there very few times considering the amount of lowballers there especially when it comes to translation.
They don't pay you with bitcoin either if someone pays with bitcoin you just get the fiat equivalent. Receiving payment didn't have any difficulty except waiting a week obviously.
If your going into the translation service then definitely no the amount of Google translators there are insurmountable the people buying translations don't even care.

I have collected knowledge about fiverr.com as I was thinking to join that sooner but after joining bitcoin I considered joining fiverr as useless as I can earn here through services and tasks also, and I don't know that they have adopted bitcoin for their payment or not but a few months ago there was no any payment system of bitcoin I think,

I think on Fiverr, customers can pay for services using bitcoin, but the workers doing the gigs get paid by Paypal, and the paypal fees are deducted from their earnings. On top of that workers pay a 20% fee to fiverr. So a gig might cost the customer $5, but the worker gets $4 minus the paypal fees for withdrawing.

Thank u for the reply. Fiverr accepts BTC as a payment option but pay out to its service providers in fiat. To add to that, there are lowballers that makes the deal more unattractive.

It seems that fiverr is more favourable to buyers than providers.

Fiver simply pays in fiat not in bitcoin so i agree with xbtfreelancer this is similar platform with only bitcoin supported. We all should support this so that we can gather as much as freelancer and project owners in bitcoin related freelancing system.

This platform from btcfreelancers could indeed be a option that you can take to get paid in the bitcoin for your services.
