As you probably know, this year the block halving occurs, moment when the block reward will halve from the current 25 BTC to 12.5 BTC. So, as this only happens once in ~4 years, we want to commemorate this special event, for that we present you with the: Crypto Imperator Block Halving Coin: http://cryptoimperator.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/PlataCara.jpg http://cryptoimperator.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/PlataCruz.jpg Gold plated version: (SOLD OUT) http://cryptoimperator.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/OroCara.jpg http://cryptoimperator.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/OroCruz.jpg We've tried to add as much meaning as possible to this coin, so absolutely everything has a reason: Weight: 1/2 Troy Oz .999 Fine Silver. (30mm diameter) Reward halves, so half the weight. Design: As you can see, it shows the concept of the coin being split in half, like the blocks, we are really happy with how it has turned out. Quantity: 100 (They will be numbered) Denomination: 0.125 BTC, that when you multiply by the quantity (0.125*100) results in 12.5 BTC, exactly the new block reward. Coins are already being minted, we expect delivery in 2-3 weeks The first 25 will be gold plated, why? The new block reward is 1/4 of the original 50BTC reward, and 25 is 1/4 of 100 ;) If you are interested in the coin, whose prices are: -89$ for the Silver coin. -109$ for the Gold plated coin. Shipping is: 6$ Payment in Bitcoin (Preferred) or PayPal (excluding funding), please let us know. But bear in mind that first 10 numbers, due to huge expected demand will be auctioned! I think that you have to do something with the gold plating to denote the whole "halving theme". I like both ideas of either 1 side gold plated or one half of the surface gold plated. It seems that the latter would be more rad, but much harder to pull off.
I am not sure whether the coin should be funded or not. To the people who don't want it funded, is it because a good scammer could redeem it and sell it as funded? I personally like the funded part of it, but if there is something I am missing, can someone please explain? Either way, it is a cool coin. I like the halving theme. The simplicity of the design, a perfect statement ... wonderful If there was a coin of the year award, this one would certainly be at the top of my 2016 coins released list. Both metals stand out and are both highly desirable. Very happy to have managed to snag one of each for the personal collection.
