Within 2 months Bitcoin is going up very fast, but in this month bitcoin price has been stopped and now Bitcoin's price is going down...IN this time, bitcoin is $446 and before week Bitcoin was $471.
WHY?
You know after one and half month ago HALVING is coming.
But i think that it is not suitable price of BITCOIN.
What do you think about it.

Even if its going down at this stage don't get panic, just hold your coins in the best possible way and you will earn great profits at the time of halving, be patient.

If eth does get dumped which odds are that it will then surely bitcoin will rise a significant amount with the amount thats taken out of eth? could be a good time to stock up on more bitcoin before the halving.

Look at people that:
1) Make threads in the wrong sections.
2) Panic because their currency does not have an infinitely growing pattern. ::)

NO, i m worried about it, and i m sure big investors are also worried about it. because in this time, it is very painful thing. Everyone are thinking about bitcoin will grow up more, and suddenly, it is going down, and i m surprise about it.
I hope within month bitcoin will come back in his own and going up.

Probably the price is going just for this time, cos it's almost halving. The price won't stay low, it definitely must go high.

Yeah people have bought bitcoin in the past will surely prefer to hold until they don't see higher price which will allow them to make profits, price will go higher in future so just hold it.

BTC price should already be going up aggressively due to halving is coming. But since its still not going up, the speculation that it will do the opposite might just be what will happen.
The truth may just be stranger than what we expect.

And don't think Ethereum is really a competitor for bitcoin. But it sure looks like flavor of the month altcoin.
Although they look promising, and quite strong now Bitcoin with limited supply is meant to go high eventually, Ethereum without hard coin cap can't achieve that.

You have to understand something here.
Bitcoin is in the market so its price depends on supply and demand, like in every other market in the world.
So, if more people buying, price is going up.
If more people selling, price is going down.
There is no mystery here but also no reason for panic.
It's normal situation and it's happening all the time.
Now, price is going down, in a several weeks will go again up and so on.
I suggest you not to look BTC price to often, and worry to much about it, but to concentrate on collecting as much Bitcoin as you can get :)

I have 225 mh in Eth coin rigs.

I am holding some btc
I am holding some eth
I am holding some cash

I will be able to shift from one to the other as needed.

In my view, if you use supply and demand formula,you can see mostly people are save their bitcoins in this time, so it is not right time the price is going down, instead of this price should be going up. something is wrong in the situation, because on the other hand, people are buying and saving their bitcoins, and wait for halving.
But the price is down. but i think it doesn't matter.

I don't think bitcoin is going down its quiet stable at a moment, and even if price drops at this stage it won't affect the future as price will rise in coming months.

ETH has an unlimited coin supply. It is hot air in my personal opinion. I will not move BTC to ETH. I am mining ETH and selling to make a profit, and holding a couple of ETH tokens only. The bubble has lasted longer than I expected, though.

Yes, it is down, but don't take tension, bitcoin will be coming up very soon. just hold your bitcoins because it is not time to sell your's bitcoins. when halving will come than everything will be going fine. and may be we all get good profit.

Of course it did because bitcoin is not stable. But this will not become very low,
And bitcoin will increase its price until the end of may, or until june because of halving..

If price remains stable for a long time then it will disappoint majority of users, if price keeps on fluctuating then it will allow to make profits and users love it.

This is just a cycle that occurs in the economy, you need not fret, worry and anxiousness over the drop in the price of the Bitcoin. you do not need to be consumed by the issue of the Bitcoin who will experience a decrease in price quite drastically. Because it's only politics to eliminate user Bitcoin to digital currency they want.

As what most saying, ETH, is affecting it, if people has been speculating on an altcoin which will get good and great recognisation, they will start dumping the main coin :P

I mean like for me, if i have $100, i would rather get all ETH because im getting X quantity of ETH, buying Btc i wont even get to get 1 btc

Like other crypto currencies Bitcoin is also volatile, so it's price also fluctuates with time, so no big deal with the price fluctuations.
But according to me the price will show an upward trend after halving as at that time miner's will get very less reward for same(probably more) amount of work done, so they will definitely be selling their coins for surely more price.

Yes, this scenario will happen but we can't say when it will happen. It depends on the users. At a time when the number of people who buy bitcoin exceeds the number of people who sell bitcoin, BTC price will start to rise again.

like ussually,now bitcoin price under $443,and its like last month,and i'm sure price going up again in next week.
i think bitcoin price will affected by bitcoin halving just when bitcoin halving come,and now its not have any effect for bitcoin price.

It's good news. It is time to buy more. Bitcoin prices is very likely to be manipulated. When prices slide, people panic and start selling. That's when manipulators could go in and swoop more. This is just my guess.

If you feel that bitcoin is going down then keep busy yourself in buying as much as you can as this time might not come ever again, try to make best use of it.

I don't understand why every time the price of Bitcoin falls down a bit people tend to panic and think it's going to crash to the ground. Come on guys this doom and gloom conversation is not healthy at all because the sky is not falling yet. Bitcoin's price is volatile and that is to be expected. There are ups and downs and certainly the halving hasn't started yet so any speculations right now are simply unfounded. This is clearly an attempt from alt coin supporters to discredit Bitcoin  ;)

yeah i am doing the same as if I feel that price is comparatively low and  it can give me profits in future then you should buy it as price would  go higher in future for sure.

Time to relax as we approach the halving, the price has gone down a bit but it's not a crash is it, lets be honest.

Better to be in a position then none, I see.

As for ETH problems though, is that the supply is "unlimited" and there is no real set hard number - which would question its value no?

Admit it, we need another Gox to pump bitcoin prices up like mad.

Right now it is the mEth doing the pump instead of Bitcoin, so that's why everyone become a mEth lover instantly.

They are jus converting into bitcoin because of fast movement but i heard this is an experiment from devs they are just playing the price of ethereum investing $150 million.. so that they can attract more people to invest to their project.

At some point just before of the halving many Alts holders will switch over BTC even ETH holders.

at this point i think more people will confused seeing the market not active and also i think we are now near with halving but the price not want move up much.

i am not sure to sell my bitcoins or save them ?  As price is growing down. Panic   :-[

im saved cause ive already sell my bitcoins when it was at 458.now bitcoin is at 430 and going down everyday..it will only go up when halving starts

Wow, some people must either have short memories or are truly new to Bitcoin. :D I remember when I first started to get involved in Bitcoin in the summer of 2014, the value made a free fall the whole time. Then for a good portion of 2015, it hovered in the low to mid $200's.
Personally, Bitcoin and altcoins are just a diversion for me. Babysitting my small coin stash provides hours of cheap entertainment. It sure beats Candy Crush.

The price drop is not that significant, it's -5% at worst, people have been investing in many other altcoins, mainly ETH, Lisk, Waves, DAO... once those are finished playing they will want to come back to bitcoin and that's when prices will start going up again and with halving in the next few months, prices can only go up as miners will not sell their bitcoins at a loss.

Exactly, a lot of people have same thinking about the bitcoin, why bitcoin is coming down and only 47 left of halving?
Actually i saw more people thinking about halving that it is a big  opportunity to get good profit, and they want to use it because i guess mostly people are using the halving in first time and i m also using it in first time, so i m feeling exciting about halving and when we saw bitcoin's price is down, and stable not moving in it, so i m also and i m sure more people worried about it.

No need to panic as this is minor correction.Prices of bitcoin is more stable this time as long as they do not fall below $400.Eth may be a good investment but it can't be an alternative to bitcoin

YES, I m also panic, i can't make right decision that is it right time to save your bitcoins or sell it? because if we save it now and after few days price will change, so that is problem for us, but one thing Halving is coming so i guess may be the price will be going up and that why it is better to save your bitcoins now.
and finally, if we sell our bitcoins and later on halving will be increased the price of bitcoin so then we will face the loss.
so better is that save the bitcoin now till the halving come.

You're not saved at all. If you don't buy back and the price starts to go up then you'll regret having sold and not bought back at lower levels. Make sure you buy back before it's too late.

Yeah and I think this is the perfect price to buy, the price is below $450 now so if you buy now you can expect higher price at the time of halving.

Bitcoin is not going down and as you can see you see that the value was stable for a long time and many people dont like it because they want to earn some profit with it and that is not possible for them.
So they have now to wait a longer time until the value will be more worth so they need also some patience for it.

For long term holders any price below $500 is a good moment to enter the market. People have been doubting whether or not to buy below $300 and when the price was below $400. Don't make the same mistake and buy while you still can below $500 and hold them.

it is just the dump after dump that the whales are doing to keep the price down and also the huge hype of the Ethereum coin which took a lot of money there. as soon as that is over i am sure price will pick up.

Not going to happen as of now. there's just too many coins on ICO waiting for its released this June and so users are going for it for now.
if they find those coin better they might ever stick to it until price is pumped. after taking the profit thats the time they'd buy BTC. or perhaps they may never do that.

I think we should have patient, because if bitcoin is down so you see within week bitcoin will going up, so it doesn't take matter. I hope everything will be good with bitcoin and halving. I have a lot of hope with Bitcoins and halving..

It just got pumped to $500. First it was ETH, then LSK, now BTC.
