That's not surprising at all. Facebook and Google use all our data for their purposes.
Facebook has no encryption in private messages so don't use it for your sensitive messages.

Was curious to see what they where doing this for and noticed they stated child pornography out front,which every one would agree with is something that we need to seek and destroy but then after that is gets a little less clear.
This is a good thing Facebook is being held to the fire,it may change a few aspects of how they go about business.

this is old news. most of the hug site uses cookies and gather data from users for marketing purposes.
google is just one example of these companies which is more aggressive as i see it. countless of lawsuits had been files against these companies, most has come to an arrangement.

It is good in some point of view .there's an advantage and disadvantage and the fact that if it is proven that illegally .but as like on the one reply it is for sorting some childhold or under Age pornography. But in the end if its illegal it is prohibited.
